@dreisus No it was not a good phone... Go look through the forums on XDA. It was garbage. The specs may have been good, but when the software is sh*t what do you expect. LG never fixed the software issues. And I also remind you that the G2X was SO bad that even TMO pulled it for 3 weeks to force LG's hand. LG makes substandard phones. Obviously you never used the G2X or a MyTouch Q.
Oh how quickly LG has forgotten the DREADFUL T-Mobile G2X... (Not to mention most of their crap phones including the MyTouch Line they had for a SHORT period of time...)
Wouldn't know how it is doing... No updates on this end yet...
Snooze... This information was sitting on XDA several days ago... *YAWN*
@TheDark_Knight I agree, but LG doesn't have the best track record on file... (G2X For TMO being a LARGE example.) My thought is that if you are going to go Nexus on subpar devices and companies, why not a Huawai Nexus? (Heaven forbid...)
OY VEY! Not an LG device, PLEASE ANYTHING BUT AN LG DEVICE!
@vision77 True, but they were in no hurry to fix it. But there was no excuse for the LG MyTocuh devices. Nothing could have saved them...
It's LG, and as most of us know LG is junk... Remember the G2X? The Previous MyTouch Line? All garbage! This one won't be any better...
This is typical that small towns get the services first, while mid-size cities suffer. What I find funny and disturbing, is that Lubbock, Texas is not on the list. Yet tiny little towns like Athens, TX are on the list.
Population:
Lubbock, Texas – 2010 – 229,573
Athens, Texas – 2010 – 12,710
Sheesh, we get everything dead ass last!
I have said it once, I will say it again. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY... GO BUY A N7!
"Amazon decided to clarify that there will be a way to opt out, though they don’t know how just yet."
Bullsh*t! Yes they could do it right now, but why be in any hurry. They want to make every extra penny they can before announcing an "opt-out".
I will stick with my N7, Thank you!
It could be "more widely available" now. Many phones have NFC, but Google, and the like will not let wallet run on them. Advertise when the products are out there in large quantities, not small ones.
Why bother, you can't use it, except on a small number of devices. Until all NFC phones are supported, why waste time advertising this.
Why spend that kind of money on 8gb and ICS? Get a N7 with 16gb and JB for a dollar less, and the $25 credit, $10 wallet credit, etc...
Where is the image for the 7 at? I looked everywhere and couldn't find it...
That is fine and dandy that HTC wants to make only high end phones, that is their right. But those high-end phones should not be pieces of junk to begin with. How many Sensation4G and Amaze 4G owners would agree with that?
Joey, dude really? You need to have this disclaimer...
"YOUR RESULTS MAY VARY!"
Because they do, and they will. Try using AT&T in West Texas, The Panhandle of Oklahoma or DEEP East Texas. It take you back to '08.... 1908...
