I like that he not-very-subtly told his teammates to pick up their game.  If they could put the puck in the net once in a while, a number of those playoff series likely would have turned out differently.  Hank hasnt been the problem.

I cant wait for tomorrow night; I hope the boys light up the scoreboard!

It's not nearly as boring as baseball, but there is little in the world *that* boring.

@Say my Name  If the Rangers could win a series in less than 7 games, then I would agree.  Unfortunately, they seem to drag everything out and by later rounds they are exhausted because theyve played 4-6 more games and gotten that many days fewer recovery days than their opponent.

@SmellyKisio  Interesting idea of using a fine as a deduction against the cap.  I kinda like it.

@Josh-CK  Dirty, dirty hit.  With his history, 5+ games in the team suite should be the minimum.

@scrangersfan @rjonyr87  I would rather see Richards bought out (his productive days are behind him) and then trade Nash.

The team played quite well in the first two periods.  What the hell happened in the 3rd?  ~15 minutes without a single shot on goal, no puck possession at all, everything that was going well in the 1st and 2nd was gone in the 3rd.  Our PP was really solid earlier in the season at something like 18%, now its total shit.  Id rather us play shorthanded, at least then we can score.

I was surprised to learn that we tied the team record for most road wins, especially after the disastrous opening-weeks western road trip.

"Old-time hockey"...isn't that a Reggie Dunlap quote? We could use the Hansons every once in a while.

My gamecenter streaming got screwed up last night but luckily I was able to see the fight. That was great! It was nice to see Nash stick up for himself rather than be a puss and just accept getting worked over. I was pretty impressed with his fighting skills, too.

Why are Staal and Stralman still paired together?! They've been pretty awful since the Olympic break. Move Klein up to replace Stralman.

Kevin, with the new blog format please change the blue font.  The color is fine but the italics makes it really hard to read.

@gravey94 @Billfrom Brookhaven  That season should get an * since it was only 60% of a season and he still came close with 24 wins.

@JoshKaye  Since the trade:

Del Zotto: 18 games, -5 rating, 3 assists, 17 sog, 6 PIM

Klein: 18 games, +1 rating, 1 goal, 3 assists, 15 sog, 0 PIM

Klein has been way more solid on defense than MDZ ever was.  Definitely a good pickup for us.

@DPSnotty @rjonyr87  And based on the comments from Richards the other day, Cally may not have been the leader we all thought he was.  Sure, he will be missed by fans and teammates but I dont think him being traded is why the team has been so flat the past few games.
