@jwelker120 Thank You. ESPN does this build it up, tear it down cycle of persons, trends, teams and personalities. ESPN seems to want to gleam the most it can from their stories like "The Decision" where they were front and center to cover it and first to the last to get off the story that went so badly. Now it has the "Return to Home" story that their talking heads has deemed so wonderful when will they get the backside of the story and trend they had such a huge hand in making? To bad it doesn't do this for their talking heads,

@Yank318 I'm glad you find pleasure with these two twits in the morning(let's face it their show seems to be following a past successful style of show. I can see if you are a talking head and you are truly a bubble-head it can make for some good talk, but these guys are terrible and it's made worse by them not being themselves. Carton is the "Mad-Dog" character to #7 being Francesa but I always found "Mad-Dog", for the most part being honest whereas Carton is and idiot, gas-bag, with intentions of being some mega-star(never happen). What's his name KO is just sad, lonely, know-it-all, egomaniac, that can't go away fast enough. I think all of these huge ego, small talents follow in the Brent Musberger school of all things wrong in broadcasting sports: You are not the reason people listen just do an honest day's job and control your ego.

@BenKoo You make some good points but to me ESPN is just a bloated, self-satisfied, cheap, short-sighted entertainment news channel that still believes they are the alpha and the omega of sports....Just sayin'!!!

If they could get out of that contract the Rams would do it in a second. You can over pay for the Qb position no other position can affect the record as they can. Bad play by a supposed top Qb is one thing mediocre play is possibly worse. For that kind of financial commitment and these past few years what do we know about Bradford?
10 months ago on Should the Saint Louis Rams Draft a Replacement for Sam Bradford?
To my mind The Colts had to step forward into the Luck-Era. I'm amazed that a team like the Dallas Cowboys with as much A-1 talent that still can't find a way to win, no-matter how many changes they make ,to assistants and Head-Coaches didn't make sure they got Mr Manning and a shot the next 2-3 Super Bowls...)

@stholeary They could comeback and deny everything cause their monetary streams of extreme riches was never-ever under any duress from fans, media, or law-makers. The one thing that the NFL has done so well is they have gotten into bed with every powerful concern in modern America TV/Congress/media/Wall Street

@Uteyank Grow-up! Any physical activity is dangerous I don't think that ia the point of the discussion. These former/present/future players have been brought into the game with falsehoods/lies about what is an injury, getting your bell-rung isn't a reason to stay out of a game. The helmet was developed in the 40-50-60's to protect the noggin but quickly was used as a weapon leading to a much more violent hard-hitting constant impact game. Apparently without consideration to the toll on the players well-being?
I guess we can see how these draft gurus earn their big money. I love how badly these guys picks fail yet they still hold a place in the crazy/silly world of NFL/TV . The Browns before their move to Baltimore let Coach Bill "SuperGenius" Belichick go and kept their great former player Newsome takeover as GM this guy has brought-in some great players especially from lower rounds. "SuperGenius" he got way lucky with a throwaway pick on a guy named Brady and a high pick named Hernandez....

Please keep-up the great work. You are truthful and apppartently without an agenda. The media bashing is your strong suit so much available material there. Calling out the NFL/NBC love match is the best. Flacco is a real good Qb and came into the league from Delaware but he's not nor should he be forced into thinking he is a Brady or a Manning even Eli.
@PacoNMartinez Nice! Really well said and true. I see that the NFL is so powerful due to strong viewership men(18-39)years old they carry huge advertising numbers. As you say over-all the game and it's players lack any real talent and show no charisma. The NFL and sports as a whole need an influx of real men not sipletons who look like cartoon characters and act (on and off the field) like criminals.

Most dysfunctional team: New England Pat's with the super brain super ego coach Belechick. He keeps piling-up low round picks that he uses to try and re-do the Bradey pick(Only super brained, super ego coaches can do that or extremely lucky schmucks) Instead he could pack some of those picks and trade up for a top selection like Atlanta did awhile back. No that doesn't display super brai, super geniuses ability. The Pat's/Coach ego doesn't re-sign those veterans that have made a career in New England and could make Brady's last few years his best and give the franchise a real chance to win a few more championships. The media suck-ups love to label Coach ego a genius and he likes the self titled super genius himself so don't give thos problematic vets room to take away his genius. Super coach brings in two TE and makes like he re-invented the wheel with that formation but he has two TE's he drafted that sparkle he signs one to big money and he's multiple murderer. the other'e a dummy and is always hurt..
@JustinG Dude ...really ! No Knick for most of last season would have been mistaken for a defensive stalwart but after coaching change(which I still disagree with at that time)! For all the extensive changes and responsibilities the team was asking of CA their was no way he could alter his game that much and still be a productive NBA star. The fact remains that this organization is a "mess"...From the top to the ball -boy! Every season the roster turnover but for 2-3 spots no draft picks are signed and developed....Since their fantasy belief in being able too sign LBJ they seem to have no long term team development in sight....This is not how the best teams work! Carmelo's talents or shortcomings or not the real story in NYC...This has become a front office seeking to acquire stars rather than put together a winning squad...
