R. Schumacher made a bad move trying to retake his position from Spengler, he went completely off the line and locked his brakes, using Werner as a stopping barrier and, consequently, Spengler crashed into Schumacher. For his recovery, Schumacher also crashed into Adrien Tambay's Audi, forcing him to retire too. Bruno Spengler went berserk on the radio, with reason.
