The only advantage that XBOX Live Gold offered over the PS3 network was party chat... they won't have that advantage next time around.
Seriously... I have guys I play DCUO with that I've played with for over 2 years now... I even text a couple of these guys during the ufc fights and such... talk shit about sports... social networking is the future of gaming. How much fun was it as a kid to sit around with a group of guys and play a game? As you get older it's harder and harder to get a group together like that... not with online play.

Yep... I had the time of my life drinking beer and playing NHL13 at my buddies after the Super Bowl. If this system was in place I'd have to pack up and bring my entire system to his house?
I remember the baseball game... the graphics blew my mind at the time but it only let you hit and pitch. No fielding or base running.

What's crazy is Sony will be letting a friend connect to your PS4 online and jump in and play a game you own... XBOX is going a whole different route here... the attempt at a money grab might really hurt them.
@Um... That's optimism based on off season signings... based on the way the line and the QB have played recently I'd of been more inclined to rank them lower and hope they were better... but I didn't write the article.
Apparently the XBOX is also going to require you to download an entire game onto your system after you purchase it, if someone wants to borrow your game they have to pay a fee online to do so... PS4 will allow a friend to jump into a game you're playing online via the internet to try it out... seems like XBOX is going for more of the money grab and PS4 is trying to make a more interactive, social experience.

It's a touchscreen... not sure how it will work with gameplay.
PS4 will clock faster... XBOX is requiring you to have the Kinect attached in order for the system to work, Sony offers online free, Xbox subscription... Sony has better exclusive titles.
