I like how the mentalness was slowly ramped up throughout the post. Civic---->Drift Evo---->Amazon Monster. Quite a natural progression. If my Australian eyes are not deceiving me, it looks like there's an SS Commodore Ute sitting behind the Zephyr. Dime a dozen here but, I imagine, quite shocking to see in Sweden. Was it of the Vauxhall variety?
@dadecode I'm not fussed if it doesn't compete. As long as there is plenty of footage of him doing so, I'll be happy.
The Hankook Porsche! That thing was insane. Natural instinct tells us that it shouldn't have been able to slide as well as it did. But it did!
I'm thinking this thing will just be a toy for Daigo. Like you said, it will not be a cheap car to compete in...unless of course Ferrari get behind him and back him. Somehow...I think not.
Yes, yes and more yes regarding the 456. For so long I have been wanting to see a competitive drifter in something completely different. Hübinette was on the right track with his Viper. This is a whole other level of cool though. Next up... Factory backed RWD Bentley Continental
@Bryn@Speedhunters Lack of man power? Alright...I'll go.
Great first post for the year Bryn. I love seeing coverage of some of the less obvious choices.
The 1950 "chevy" ute from Australia is actually a Holden Ute. An FJ if i'm not mistaken.
I used to have an '89 5 series... why didn't I think of that?
Spotlight-o-ramas on the yellow coupe in the last photo and the mis-matched wheeled "extreme" levin. Pleeeeeeeease!!!!!!
Could we get a desktop of the shot of the St. Bernard Pass? PLEASE!!!
@ghepardo Lighten up mate.
"We thought it would be fun to ask you guys which of the following three high performance cars you’d select for a long date around the ‘Ring."
It's a light-hearted question that for 99.9% of us is purely hypothetical. They're saying that car guys/gals should WANT to do it.
I bet you're no fun at dinner parties...
