I keep using up the larger size of the Skin79 Hot Pink BB Cream, and I hit pan on a translucent Physicians Formula powder awhile ago, but I still have plenty left. I feel silly for buying a new one so quickly! XD
The only Two Faced product I have is an eyeshadow duo, which I like! :)
I like the side-swept bangs, and I really thought the blonde, blonde/pink suited you well. Though that's a lot of work to keep up with, I know!
I've been growing my hair out, just because I've been enjoying its natural curl this way, but it is a PITA most days, since my hair loves to tangle and more hair = more tangles.
I've wanted to find a perfect gold...not too opaque, not just gold sparkle. Something that IS gold, but translucent enough to let some of my natural lip color shine through so it doesn't look too weird for my face. If that makes any sense!
Haha, one time I wore a t-shirt to the airport that said "Good girls are just bad girls that haven't gotten caught." TSA agent reads this out loud, looks at me, and I go, "Maybe I should've worn something else today," and we cracked up.
Getting through O'Hare with my laptop earlier this year was a pain in the butt. I've never even heard of anyone doing anything untoward with a laptop, but they want to scan them especially by themselves anyway.
Huh, I've had great luck with it. I pulled it out today and wore it just to make sure I wasn't crazy, but it did great. The separation from the jar doesn't necessarily indicate dryness, all of these style shadows that I have really like to stick together--my ETK stuck to itself so well, the first time I opened it, it stuck to the plastic press and itself so well, it all came out attached to it in a clump! That's definitely what I consider separated from the jar. XD
My Endless Sea does seem less loose and powdery than Christine's, more squishy/chunky like other Infallibles and my ETK. Maybe batch inconsistencies?
@Dinitchka Aw, wait a little while and they'll have a deal again on it. Or find a coupon. I'm a pretty big fan of all the hexes that Revlon's put out, though this one's probably the least exciting. My favorites have been Scandalous/Facets of Fuschia, Whimsical, and Popular/Starry Pink.
I wish they'd stop changing the names, though. >:|
@yellowlantern I've had good luck with Endless Sea over a primer. But I generally have had great luck with all the Infallibles--over primer. I even have to wear ETK over a primer.
Hmm...I already have an ELF bronzer that's just like that face powder sans the blush quadrant. And the eye palettes don't strike me as very versatile. Not familiar with the brand, the quality might be great, but this collection doesn't seem very exciting.
I wear makeup all the time, and when I go out shopping, I usually just swatch on my hand--I've often already decided what I want, it's become a matter of which color I'm going to buy that day because I can't afford one of everything.
I can't say I've had any issues based on how I dress, but I've been carrying around a giant blue Loungefly Hello Kitty purse for a year now, and I think a lot of SAs have recognized me by my purse, haha.
Definitely Pink Pigeon. It looks very interesting, but I'm afraid to try really bright lipstick, so it'd make for a good opportunity.
@Kafka Have you tried the Revlon balm stains yet? I don't know if they'd be QUITE balmy enough for you, but they're pretty pigmented, and I find them moisturizing. They retail for like $7.50, but drugstore products go on sale quite a bit!
Oooh, I probably have several equivalents to Genesis, but I'm really liking Dreamstate, Polymorph, and Dispersion. I wish I had some skill at pressing eyeshadows...I never use my loose ones.
I kind of get this effect with UD Stardust in Andromeda. The sheen in this is significantly more subtle, though.
I don't find my lids are that oily, but something about their shape makes anything outside of a few cream products prone to creasing on me! Before I got introduced to eyeshadow primer, I wore a lot of cream shadows, and finding ones that worked were a bit trial and error. I think about the only thing I have now that I know I can wear primerless without creasing are the Maybelline Color Tattoos and my old standby cream shadow--wish I could remember the line name, I found a couple recently at dollar tree and snatched em up.
@Phyrra You like teals, you should get it! It's the first shade of that liner I ever bought, and I still probably use it the most out of the five total I've got.
Yeah, I'm fortunate enough that the Asian BB creams are fair enough for me. I hoped for two things with the type of product getting launched via western brands--more exposure to a great formula, and more color options for less homogenous population.
Western BB creams aren't anywhere near the same type of formulation--I find Asian BB Creams to be more pigmented than some foundations--and none of them are even releasing darker options. What's the point? :(
I mean, I know it's hard to find some pale options, I'm not super pale and many lines don't even make tinted moisturizer light enough for ME, but...seriously, Extra Light, Light, and Light Plus? That doesn't even include a Medium, for crying out loud!
One of my go-to looks this summer has been Armani ETK #23 with UD 24/7 Liquid Liner in Siren. Sometimes I put a teal in the crease, too, but it's always been whatever teal is easiest to get my hands on, nothing specific!
@Kafka My Meijer will eventually have it. Sometimes I wonder why I bother checking any other place out, I should just wait for it there, haha.
Argh, any of the ones with the little plastic nubs on the tips of the bristles? They just get caught in my hair and pull. I either use a boar bristle brush, or I use a pick if I'm trying to keep my waves closer to curls.
