@þ (The artist formerly known as natesweet72) I tried kicking, but not much luck. Site still hates me, just not quite as much.
Hm, does this thing work..
@Gabes22 Good things were expected when we first got him. Hopefully he's starting to live up to that.
@Preparation_A Sadly, that does not help me in Madison, WI
Is it bar time yet?
Hey now, I was trying to avoid the puns. 'Granted not at that level...' :-P
A changing line is part of the gig. I'm not comparing their stats which can be influenced by the line, I'm comparing what I see when I watch each guy play, and my own experiences in coaching RB's. Not at that level, of course, so there's a measure of 'I don't know what the coaches actually told him to do.' But as I've seen Starks run, I haven't been impressed. Good strength, but doesn't use it right IMO.
@SDL @Gabes22 Remember the convo, SDL. I will be happy to be wrong on this one. I just don't see it.
@SDL There are times he needs to stop moving laterally and get what he can. 0-2 yards > -1 or -2 yards. I'm on my own RB's about that very thing as well. As much as a 4-yard swing just by being decisive.
@Gabes22 Toward the end of the season, Grant was more consistant. Yes.. Starks had been hurt by then, but earlier in the year he wasn't very consistant. His hesitation in choosing lanes drove me up a wall.
I agree with SDL on a lot of things.. but not this one. And my opinion hasn't changed in a year. Grant has performed better than Starks. Maybe Starks will stay healthy and prove us wrong this year.. but at this point I'm more looking forward to Green (and wishing we could get Grant back at an acceptable price).
*le sigh* Was already bored out of my skull, and now our support desk software just crapped out so I can't access or update any of the tickets. Never thought I'd lament the death of Spiceworks..

Missed it, but funny.
@jwoude23 @SDL vs. a particular university team, we used to drink during Ultimate Frisbee matches.. that was always a good time. Instead of a serious game, both teams would hang out on the same sideline and pop open a couple of coolers of beers.. the games got interesting after a while.
@MIBearFan1 Careful what you wish for. Next week you'll have a half dozen WI Dems as guests in IL again.
You need to visit Madison and go golfing.. though I suck at it horribly, it does make for an enjoyable morning.
"The best team" is something they have to prove yet. "Team to beat", they get by virtue of last year's record and keeping most of the team together.
Haha, nice! Its ok as long as you can say 'Toast!' or something equivalent to where its 5pm.
