@King of Carrot Flowers the third There are a million charities out there. To say one is more deserving than another just cause of some viral phenomenon is rather bogus. Better off keeping all your money & spending it on the best technology available at the time if/when you or a loved one becomes afflicted IMO.

@Sustainable Parameters @Tequila or Failure Yeah, I forgot the PC twitterverse world we live in now doesn't allow rational thought on subjects. It ain't the cop on civilian aspect I'm speaking to, more the cross racial killings. Not to get all bigoted, but can just about guarantee that there are a shitload more whites killed by blacks in a given year than vice versa. How about the dude in Detroit who was killed by an angry mob on account

of accidentally hitting a black girl with his car? Where's the national outrage on this?

I'm no fan of cops believe me, but if there's going to be a frickin riot when a maybe innocent person of color is shot, our nation's got problems. Don't recall any riots occurring down in Duncan or Lawton, wherever it was, when that Australian dude was shot in the back while jogging. Could site another 1000 instances of it going the other way is what I'm saying.

Hidden positive from KD's withdrawal (which I'm all for), could have been some bad blood rise up in the championship game between he & Serge, considering KD would've been the starting 4 & the two of them presumably would've gone head to head quite a lot. Perhaps that would run over into the NBA season. I don't give a rat's ass about international ball, it's all about the thunder.

Believe USA soccer is in a better place than prior if you will but IMO, we were thoroughly outplayed in 3 of 4 w/Portugal being a figurative & literal draw. Hard to believe we can't find 23 guys in a nation of 300-mil that can't conquer tiny little Belgium. The narrative that we don't care about it enough is growing tiresome. Who under the age of 40 in this country didn't play soccer growing up? Even if soccer is only the #1 sport of 15% percent of the population, that's 45 mil. Plus considering all the children of iimmigrants who live & breath the stuff, makes no sense why we can't get past the round of 16.

Can almost always tell when Durant didn't get his late 1st/early 2nd or late 3rd/early 4th rest @ the end of the game, both playoffs & regular season (he wasn't as good). It's a shortsighted view both game x game & cumulative not to give him appropriate in-game rest. Believe that KD partially dictates when he's coming back in or leaving, so this ain't all on Scottie. Gotta find someone to put the ball in the hole in his stead though. No reason Russ can't be on the court 100% of the time KD's off going forward.

So I'm just a moderate soccer fan, mainly country vs country not league stuff. Have been catching up on some YouTube clips tonight prepping for the WC. Soccer announcers, mainly brittish ones, are so frickin' gay (sorry Grant). E.G. "Player X is trying to wrap himself in glory", "that pass was sent straight from the heavens, utter genius." The soccer flopping has already infiltrated the true 'beautiful game' enough imagine if the announcing style does. "That Perk-punt is like manna from the heavens, utterly sublime".
