Memphis beating us or at least taking it to 7 seems to be a pretty popular pick amongst national pundits. If we win the chip this year going through Memphis (probably the 4th to 7th best team in the league actually), then LAC, then SAS, & then Miami, that would be one helluva accomplishment & one of the most well-earned chips ever.

Spurs are gonna have a frickin cakewalk to the WCF's. 2nd round possibilities Houston & Portland are not even close to playing their best ball of the year. Houston w/Dwight needed a 39-22 4th to defeat the JV NO squad that we waxed the previous night.

Speaking of KD in commercials, 1 & 2 years ago, he was everywhere. Now, I can't think of 1 that's currently airing. Speaks I think to mass consumerism's desire to slurp what's next as opposed to what's now.

Right on Austin Rivers for recognizing Serge's awesomeness. It drives me nuts that Joe fan doesn't understand that playing D is half the game. 2nd thing that drives me nuts, Bill Simmons. Have read/listened to him for over a decade probably but if I read/hear one more comment about how stupid we were to trade Harden I'm gonna puke. We aint the Lakers or the Knicks, i've got no problem accepting that fact. Royce has laid out the particulars of the proposed contract/trade alternatives if we waited a year quite coherently in the past. & to those who think Harden would've generated more wins to this team than Serge w/supreme scorers like KD & Russ already on board, y'all are nuts. Plus, Harden's game just ain't got enough testicular fortitude for my tastes. A bunch of theatrics in order to get to the stripe coupled w/putrid D.

In what universe is fisher getting 30+ a wise coaching decision? Anyone who wants can get past his 40-yr old ass, plus, he's giving us next to nothing on O. Lamb, Pj3, Adams, Roberson,,, just a small list of individuals I want to see time over fisher.

Wisconsin had no one who athletic enough to create their own shot, UK has 4 or 5. Couple shot/play creators (Russ & KD e.g.) w/a multiple screen system like Wisconsin's? I'd love to see it.

Helluva game. Wisconsin had about 1/5th the talent UK did & yet they're right there @ the end. Why?, their complicated multiple screen offensive system. If a NBA team w/super talent (us for instance) ever ran those kind of sets, we'd score on 75% of possessions.

Reggie's good I just don't like the way the ball sticks everytime he's in possession of it. Would like to see an immediate, quick move either for himself or to set up someone else on occasion.

2 thoughts - 1, the Spurs ain't beating us in a 7-game series, just not happening. Serge & Perk can control their inside game & we've got enough athletic wings/pg's to contain their 3-pt attack (although Mills needs to be covered a little more closely). 2- Roberson is a defensive demon, & a near perfect compliment to the first team lineup. I've got no problem moving forward w/him as our starting 2, assuming we retain/get several offensive-minded second unit 1-3's.

So Wiggins reportedly declared today. Most of the mocks/big boards have him gong first but assuming Embid's back checks out ok, I'd take him 1st & not give it a second thought. Wiggins has got a little too much of the Tim Thomas, PJ3 drifting gene.

My worst bracket ever, or at least since last year. 0 of my final 4 teams made it to the elite 8 (Louisville, ISU, KU, Creighton). I should quit throwing my money away on these damn CBB bracket bets.

Well, Louisville winning the chip is my only chance of winning my pool. Kansas played like a JV squad today. Wiggins has awesome physical talent but he disappears all the frickin time. A mix of Tracey McGrady, Tim Thomas & Julian Wright to me, aka, a coach killer if/when he's drafted in the top 3. The Early dude from WSU looks like a prototypical 2 in the league to me. Don't recall him high in the mocks I've seen but if he's around come our picks, come on down.

Dieng w/22 & 21 against the Dwight-less Rockets tonight. How much longer until we seriously regret taking Adams over him? I was all in the Dieng bandwagon last year so this ain't revisionist history. Beyond the center-type stats, the dude is a gifted passer.

Am I the only person in America w/o a twitter or Facebook account? Love me, like me, follow me, pay attention to me, notice my existence,,,, no thanks. Anyway, enjoyed Royce's post but one point of contention, I think it's at least 50/50 that RJ gets dealt in the offseason, most likely in a package w/our Dallas 1st & maybe our own 1st to move up into the 6-12 range of the draft & get an impact player (Smart, McBuckets, etc.). Seems like a thundery type of move to me.

Yeah Roberson doesn't shoot well currently, but he is a hell of an athlete. He's springy as hell, can board like a sumbitch, & can convert drives to the rack @ a decent rate. Plus, it seems he's got some dawg in him which may or may not be true of Lamb or PJ3. Between him @ 28 or whatever & Adams @ 12, I'ma gonna go ahead & give last year's draft a solid A. To me, the insane athleticism of Russ & Serge (plus KD's flat awesomeness) is what separates us from the SA's, Houston's, Golden States of the league. So the more crazy athleticism / bulldog mentality we can get on the floor the better & Roberson's got it.

Considering KD & Sccotty's frequent displeasure w/RJ plus his own stated desire to be a fulltime starting PG in the league, it seems likely that his days w/us are numbered. Would not at all be surprised if he's traded in the offseason prior to having to deal w/a potential 2nd contract. The return wouldn't be what it was for Harden obviously, but it seems he may be causing some chemistry issues, which if true, good riddance RJ.

Agree w/doesn't use his size well but not w/slow & awkward. Dude's got coordination & fluid movements for 7'-1". I think it's mostly a core strength & mindset issue w/him. Have never seen him just pivot on someone down on the block & complete either a dunk or equivalent powerful low-post move.

Not sure of Baylor's Austin's future in the league. Can't teach 7'-1", has got plenty of offensive finessey-type of skill all the way out to the 3-line, can block plenty of shots, but can't rebound worth a damn & can be easily overpowered by anyone w/strength. Channing Frye seems the most apt NBA equivalent.

I'm all in on Dougie McBuckets. Would be a great for us in small ball lineups. Maybe our 1st plus Dallas' first gets us up to 12 or so where we could draft him?
