Obviously I can't speak for any of the people involved, but my inference here is that the Outlaw aspect of this car was not intended to be taken too seriously: Mr Ross is evidently a fan of Mr Walker's signature style, and asked him "how about it mate?" …and Mr Walker eventually said "alright". No big deal, and no reason to make a big deal out of it.

Anyway, I like it, colours and all. Personally I'd keep the wheels it has now.

The question is, why ARE there so many Porsche Brits in California?

@Gianluca FairladyZ @eejjkk @gwhisky @WhyNot65 Although to be fair, it's not super hard to make a Bugatti Veyron ugly.

Second thoughts, maybe it IS quite hard to make one uglyER.

@gwhisky @EXSVGS I think the truth is somewhere in between. Yes, Ferrari engineers know what they are doing better than hellaflush fanboys. BUT suspension design, tyre spec etc on a stock, street-going Ferrari is not optimised for performance; it's optimised for a compromise between performance and daily street-driving liveability (and note, Italian roads are not always… roads…).

So there may - in some cases - be tangible benefits to be had from such simple things as "more rubber". And if you doubt that, have a look at the tyre width, widened bodywork, lowered ride-height etc on a GT3 spec 458… and then ask yourself where the "look" for wide-bodied, lowered cars comes from in the first place.

Absolutely love it. Agree with those saying it's Italian as much as Challenger - I'm getting Alfa GTA, Lancia Fulvia coupe, Lancia 2000 HF.

It just goes to show what a timeless design the s14 is.

Speaking of time, i'm gonna need some to decide what i think of the rear treatment… but when an artist is working at the peak of his abilities, who am i to question it?

Dear Mr Dalle Carbonare

I am very much enjoying your coverage from the Mooneyes show in Yokohama (as I do all your coverage) and also your approach to the coverage. Shooting on set-up day, featuring the roll-in, and the details piece above, all add richness.

BUTTT…

I can't help thinking that these features would work even better as context pieces to a main piece that just showed us, like, ALL the cars - or at least all the ones you like (I certainly trust your taste in these matters). It's just that, living in London, I couldn't feasibly go to the show in person… but I'm greedy. I want to see ALL THE CARS!!!

Best looking Mog i think i've ever seen. Especially from front on. The colour scheme is flawless. And a great story, thank you Mr Moore.

On mine i would delete the fender piping and try to do something different with the number plate mounts front and rear - just have the sticker kind, white type on black?

One more thing, when i read Mr Moore's line about keeping driving fun, i had an involuntary association with "Keep Drifting Fun". Now, what might that look like, in a Morgan…?

I agree with the sentiment that the world needs a healthy Jaguar, and for sure they have made great leaps recently. But still much too tame in my opinion. Compare this with the mind-blowing qualities of their fifties and sixties cars, race cars, sports cars, even saloons. Not the same league. It's as though they are trying to win over a new audience… but without losing their "retirement treat" market… Sorry chaps, you can't have it both ways.

Having said that, not bad, not bad at all. But those wheels tho! OEMs and their awful wheel designs, gawd love 'em :(
