I am fine with PER as the objective measure, but I wouldn't mind a little subjectivity. Hopefully this would allow the superstar category to include Allen Iverson, Derrick Rose, while excluding Blake Griffin(who I like, but he just doesn't do enough for his team).

He may have lost some athleticism, but that may have a lot to do with his weight gain. He looks noticeably more muscular and heavy now then he did in 2007. I would think it would be hard to put on such bulk without losing a step.

Going from mocking Carlos Boozer to calling Chris Bosh a superstar is laughable. Offensively at least Carlos Boozer has been better than Chris Bosh this year. Rose's health is a legitimate concern, but take out his 1-13 post injury game and he has actually been better this year(essentially healthy Rose is better this year than last year). The Bulls are far better offensively than they were last year and just as good defensively. Just about every Bulls player has improved from last year, with the exception of Luol Deng. You guys are far too dismissive of a young team that does nearly everything well. It's a good thing you guys weren't around when the Bulls were losing to the Pistons in the late 80's(or any of the dozen of cases of a young contender failing in the playoffs before breaking through.)
