I think this is sort of a "In your face. Windows 8 sucks and we want no part of it" move by Apple lol. And hey, if Office isn't available in the App Store, why should iTunes be available in the Windows store?
I prefer iMessage over everything (mainly cause you have unlimited characters in your messages over texts) but prefer texts over everything else. So I don't actually use texting "apps," just iMessage.
My day to day email app. I love it.
Here's an idea: Integrate Facebook messages and Twitter DM's in Apple's current messaging app! That's probably a bit more likely. I'd like to see that in iOS 7.
I'll try out the tablet version on my Nexus 7. But I wouldn't even want it on my iPhone. I have an app for Facebook and a way to post from notification center. That's enough for me personally. I think it's ridiculous Facebook already has a Messenger and Camera app in the App Store. I can send messages from the regular app and can take pictures with my built in app. Why the need for all this Facebook crap in the way?
This needs to make it to Cydia like Auxo did
I like having a physical home button. I have a Nexus 7 and the minor inconvience of not having a home button just for the purpose of waking it up bothers me. Pushing the home button is a lot less awkward then pushing the sleep button to get to the lock screen.
I just bought the 4S on VM on Black Friday. I don't think I'm willing to dish out another $650.
I've noticed a slight decrease in battery life. A full restore isn't worth it though. I'll wait for iOS 6.1.1
I've been to DC and it was awesome!
@CallChrisNow True. But VM has the iPhone too. They're making it like this is the first iPhone carrier to throttle speeds. I'm still laughing at the title though. It's not capped, it's throttled. And having "Ouch!" in the title makes the blog look immature (so to speak) in my opinion.
@CallChrisNow That's true. But I don't understand why Straight Talk is the only ones "at fault." VM calls it unlimited too and I've never read an article about it like this one.
Virgin Mobile is unlimited but throttles speed at 2.5 GB. I've never even hit 1 GB so I think for the average user, 2 GB is plenty anyways.
It tells me mine is up to date (iOS 6.0.1)
I'm most surprised to see the PS3 up there. There's still people who don't have one and want one? And it doesn't surprise me the iPhone didn't make it. Everyone has an iPhone already. No kids parents are gonna pay to get out of a contract to get the new phone, and kids don't care. They're okay with what they have. I have a 4S. I don't want an iPhone 5, I want a Nexus 7.
It's pretty awesome, but I'm missing the "Date added" sorting option in the playlist (and others) view. It bothers me so much, I almost wish I didn't update.
The mobile web version didn't get it today, it got it a couple weeks ago.
Is that the front of the BB? It seriously looks like the back of the iPhone 5, minus the BB logo.
I bought this app for $10, the price went down to $1, and now it's free. I feel like my money was stolen, considering it's priced $1 more than it's priced $10. It's always "on sale for a limited time."
Also, Target is offering the iPhone 4 and 4S on Virgin Mobile, both $150 off, plus a $100 Target Gift Card.
