Wow. I was a bit bummed that the dirt was all gone from Pikes Peak, but if it means we get more and more impressive looking builds attempting the climb I'm a happy man.
@PaddyMcGrath Aah I see what u did there... u know what I mean :-P
Nice snaps and a good read.My only comment (I've said it a few times in the past) is that with all the sentences written about how awesome something sounds, why not just record it on your cameras? It doesnt have to be a big fancy production. Just a 30 sec raw clip or whatever so instead of reading how sweet something sounds, we can just click and listen :)
This is definitely a must see event if your in NZ. The mix of cars is unreal. This is my second year and I plan on making it an annual thing.
Nice to meet you there Brad (oggling the engine bay of the Bolwell Nagari - 430rwhp and 920kg!) and cheers for the stickers! Looking forward to your next post on the event.
Ahh thats where I saw those new Commodore tail lights before - 6 series.
I've got mixed feelings about this... nice to see the car out, but I'd rather see it back at Tsukuba in its classic livery battling it out to be #1
@Mike Garrett Looking forward to seeing the RC and TR models when they get to NZ http://www.the86.co.nz/86-rc-and-tr-86/ The TR comes with a cage and race seat/harness. Nice.
Looks like they used the unpainted 86RC bumpers on the Todoroki Auto 86. Those front guards look nice. Not too over the top.
Looking forward to the days story.I like how those snow tires/rims sit in the front guards more than the usual setup
The Group B 'pure sound' vids on Youtube are great if you want to hear them too
@Stikitnow @zackspeed333 Wow in a kind of 'V' configuration http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dT8wTr27uD4&feature=player_embedded
Was lucky enough to get a ride in one at the Leadfoot Festival (NZ). Will NEVER forget that.
