@Bob Meripol @Catfishin @EephusBlue I guess the positive is that he is not in the NL anymore, let alone the NL West.

@The Monocle @Disgruntled Goat So, I guess that clearly puts the Dodgers as the #1 Favorite from the NL to get to the WS.

@Mike Petriello Knowing that makes me hate him a little more whenever I think about it. But mainly, it's the douchy beard that does it.
@Mike Petriello I know that what little I contribute is worth replying to, let alone reading, but that guy/girl/whatever just made things madening.
@WBBsAs @capnsparrow @DavePomerantz @DBrim I agree... Bonds is not a good person. He has done alot of things, just hasn't been caught.
2 years ago on Dodgers Depth Chart Analysis: Who’s On First?
@EephusBlue @Mike Petriello I will say this....some positions are easier to transition to, depending on where you played before. If you were a catcher, it's a bit easier to move to 1st or 3rd. I have seen alot of OF transition to 2B pretty well. However, to do it at the Major League level, that's just asking so much of a person, especially one who is just trying to take raw talent and turn it into a skill like Dee is. It's pretty much asking for a miracle on his part.

Best Todd Coffey moment of 2012 was during Spring Training in Glendale. He actually got up to bat and knocked one between the 1st and 2nd basemen. He almost didn't know what to do, and just lumbered down to 1st base. In my mind, I could hear the theme to Chariots of Fire playing as he was running. It wasn't that I was seeing it in slow motion in my mind, but he was just really that slow and 'fluid' if you will. Great moment. The whole dugout was cheering for him afterwards and he was smiling like the Cheshire Cat.

@DeucesWild Good point.

Worst trade I ever saw was in the lunchroom back in 5th grade. My buddy Ted told this kid Peter that he would trade his Capri Sun for Peter's 3 Oreos. I mean.....really? How do you just give up 3 Oreos for a below average juice pouch?
@LA Woman @Disgruntled Goat @Lobo @Catfishin Dan Plesac, Professional Kiss Ass. :-D

@EephusBlue @Bob Meripol It's so strange that it makes your thought process go numb and in the end....you just buy it.
@darknesssss And USC cannot produce NFL caliber QB's.
@Dang88 @Catfishin @EephusBlue That's Billy Bean, where the GM is Billy Beane.
Glad you are back online. Hope everyone made it through and didn't have any withdrawls. BTW....I fully endorse Bad Idea Girl!!!

I didn't like it when Martin had #55 and it would suck if Schumaker did the same. Sorry, but that one belongs to Orel.

@The_Real_Paul @capnsparrow @Disgruntled Both are good points.... i don't dive deep into the stats of WAR and stuff like most of you guys, but I guess my look at this is kind of skewed only because we are looking at possibly having a rotation of: 2011 CY/2012 CY Runner up, Greinke, Beardingsley, 3 time WS champ Beckett, and hopefully the Anti-Blanton in a fat Korean guy. When you look at that Rotation, and the possibilities that you have with it, it's hard to look at Sanchez and Dickey (that just made me laugh....Sanchez and Dickey) or Sanchez and anyone else as a solid viable option. The other pitchers are really good, don't get me wrong....but they aren't that rotation I just mentioned.

@Mike Petriello Just as long as it doesn't reach Favre-ian levels of himming and hawing. Feels like it's kinda reached that to some extent.
@Disgruntled Goat Taking on Sanchez kinda feels like taking on Scutaro or Pagan. Basically, we'd be paying for their services based on a very small sample size that just happened to concurrently run with the greatest streak of luck we have seen in the last 50 years.
Bacon Girl has replaced Meh Girl.... This is a good thing.

Why do I have this overwhelming want/wish feeling to have Kim Ng back in our front office? What would the world look like through those Rose Colored Glasses?
@Disgruntled Goat Yes, I agree....21st Amendment is pretty kick ass.
@VietnamDodger @LA @Disgruntled @MatthewSaydah @The_Real_Paul @ThtsaPaddlin No...no it's not. That part of SF has become one of the most rediculously priced parts of the city. The only thing that makes that area worth a shit is 21st Amendment Brewery. I do say this admitting that I can't stand anything having to do with that city.
@LA Woman @VietnamDodger @Disgruntled Goat @MatthewSaydah @The_Real_Paul @ThtsaPaddlin I like PacBell only up to the point where you walk out of the park. Then you are back to the reality of that Shithole of a city. Homeless people begging and all the freaks around you with bones thru their noses... no thanks.
Meh Girl....just go away already!!!

damn...my grammar is bad.
@Lobo @Mike Petriello @kengurnick Only reason why I don't totally hate the idea of that is I understand that he totally hates the whole SF organization.

@The_Real_Paul Let's bring all the primates from every zoo in CA also. I'd love to watch Frank dodge monkey poop.
@EephusBlue She makes you want to smack those glasses off her and yell at her for being a slacker. I don't know why, but she does.

@Disgruntled Goat @capnsparrow Returning the comment from last night... Ummm....dude?
@Disgruntled Goat @EephusBlue @efb I know a guy.
@Dang88 @Catfishin @efb It's cool... You get to go into Vin's media box. Can't sit in the chair though.
@Disgruntled Goat @VietnamDodger A ducks quack will not echo.
@joe @EephusBlue @ThtsaPaddlin @Catfishin Dude... Don't mock the Colonel or the Pioneer Chicken guy for that matter. Only Phil Jackson can pull off The Colonel.
@EephusBlue @ThtsaPaddlin @Catfishin Doucebags will be Douchebags.
@Catfishin MLBTR would also post anything that looks remotely interesting. Here is a sample headline: Epstein and Beane seen shaking hands, Ned walks by and goes Crop Duster.
@capnsparrow @Disgruntled @The_Real_Paul If level of intelligence translated to the ability to hit a baseball, then Juan Uribe would be the posterchild for that combo.
@Disgruntled Goat @The_Real_Paul That's better than seeing an ad for online graduate degrees. That just implies that you are lazy and not too bright.
