I'll fly out from NJ for the torches and pitchforks rally. Maybe the league office can fund my flight? After all, I am The Commish.
Yo, the Commish is in da house! Opening day, where is everyone?
Always the most "looked-forward-to" column of the year.
Agreed on all. (especially that statue!)
Except: 1. Collins won't get canned early because nothing is expected of Mets, especially with Santana gone.
2. Yankees aren't as dead as you think, though hopefully they will miss playoffs.
3. Rays , AL champs? Not so much. Remember, Mr. Lonely is at 1B.
Is he going to be fine?
This game is retarded.
That should be it for Caps
@Howard Cole Nice showcase for other teams to evaluate Caps. There isn't a legitimate batter in either lineup
Man, it is pouring -- can't believe they won't stop it.
@Howard Cole Not Alan Ladd, but his son or something?
Caps says thank you for swinging at ball four.
Watching an old Charlie's Angels on TV. did you know Farrah and Cheryl Ladd were on the show at the same time?
Who is the play by play guy? Is it Collins? Know it's Monday with him.
@Howard Cole It's making Caps lose his control.
Great, here comes the rain.
Who are these announcers on the stream? Sounds like they are from
a USC communications course.
Great stuff, and everything I wanted to know but was afraid to ask about the Dodger bench. With the Yankees on the prowl to replace Granderson, Teixeira, and A-Rod, Colletti better be on his toes. The fact that the Yanks have Juan Rivera listed as their LF (at least he can reach 2nd base) on depth charts means that Cashman (Yanks GM) is still definitely looking around.
The thing that disappoints me about Crawford is that we now don't have a legit leadoff man.
The fact that we are concerned with the 25th player on the team shows how far we have come in a year, and breeds optimism. If Mattingly doesn't get in the way, this team should go a long way.
