No exact dyno figures as it hasn't been on a hub dyno, only a wheel dyno. Above 17lbs of boost it was spinning the wheels, Phil is very experienced as is the engine builder so this is an informed and educated estimate. Hence the 'roughly' part, sorry to be vague but sometimes you know what? It just does the job no matter what the figures :)

 @Speedhunters It was original body work black with a nose down stance... How it made it back to Columbus I have no idea. I ended up doing over 100 different jobs on it, became good mates with the guys in Jegs too. Keep hunting!

I've had many happy times in Ohio, down around Columbus mainly. I did buy a '47 Ford Tudor from Cincinnati in 2008, then drove it back across to New Jersey to be shipped UK side. I had the 'INGLESE' plate on a 92 Chevy G20 I toured the States in the year before, registered in Licking County :)

 @frpa I know, the engine bay will swallow all sorts of motors... To be honest I'd prefer a blown LS motor to the 2J. Neither will be happening right now though, I'm dedicated to the Volvo cause. For now.

 @Curlytop T5 is more hassle than it's worth at this stage, converting one to inline would cost the same as getting big numbers from this engine. The 5cyl growl is nice though...

@AnthonyBurrows Haha, that picture was taken when I went over to shoot the Anglia for Classic Ford Magazine. Since then it's been supercharged and fitted with a sequential box. So yes, when I make it back it should defintely be a feature car!

I guess the quickest answer is look at the GT86, but yes modern demands do mean that cars are larger, crash standards are higher and equipment expectation too.

 @maxproof They are good, but internally they're not as refined as a P1800ES. The fibreglass body is neither here nor there either, the ones I've had experience of have been an incredible mix of mile or mill thick. Still cheap in the UK though.

In the driving shots Dean is running a little higher and as his answer above says, "It's the natural position of the trailing arm geometry when all air is out. In normal driving position, camber is standard." So it's not really a problem :)

You've driven an early 80s Lotus, right? Dean has, plus he drove it quite happily to the location and a lot of other places this summer. All with the sump intact. Last time I checked he had absolutely no brain damage either.
