@ComJive Dr Sir, Reference your communication of 14minutes ago, thank you, that was greatly appreciated. Regards, Bryn
Great read, I really enjoyed that as it's often much better when you have the full picture in your head. Man I need to get to Japan someday... Oh and you need to stop off at Iowa 80 sometime, 220 acres of truck stop in Iowa. Barbers shop, dentist... America does alright ;)
There is an air of ex-special forces stab vest about him isn't there? Out of all of those videos they did, yours is the most informative. Good work man...
@aussieANON Awesome...
@Mike Garrett @Larry Chen Reading this makes me want to come over and help too...
Tamiya only came up in conversation over the weekend, so I dug my old catalogues out. I turn a page and I'm 15 again... Those work aprons are a thing of wonder. Much need.
Favourite period of American racing. Bar none. Can't pick!
Good to see these on here at last, we were trying to get Dave this time last year and Hamish in the autumn too! Go get 'em Paddy!
That plate... Never ceases to make me smile.
No exact dyno figures as it hasn't been on a hub dyno, only a wheel dyno. Above 17lbs of boost it was spinning the wheels, Phil is very experienced as is the engine builder so this is an informed and educated estimate. Hence the 'roughly' part, sorry to be vague but sometimes you know what? It just does the job no matter what the figures :)
@Jared L That's the first time anybody has said my second name is badass, but I'll take that, thank you! Glad you approve, I just knew everybody would want to know more when I saw it.
@SaudQureshi Fair point about the photographer, maybe my drooling scared him.
@ToneDiez It really is immaculate, and the guys keep it that way regardless of any cameras. It's just pride showing through...
@roeby It's based on a 2JZ, but yes bespoke as in built specifically for this application. I guess when you make your own block you can call the engine your own?
@DanielRamirez1 @Hotcakes I think the finish line officials are worried for the timing boards...
@DaFraz I didn't see that no, I don't get a chance to look at TB much although I've been registered on there for 8 yrs I think. I do have some composite people locally, but I have a feeling I'm going to give it a go myself.
Corey, you are a man of vision and taste. My thoughts exactly.
That's made me smile, yeah getting beaten by the paperboy on his BMX was a highpoint of previous ownership.
