That's cute! I'd get one just for the novelty of it. That button is too big and ugly as fuck though.
As a happy T-mo customer, I still may just buy the unlocked version. I'm assuming it's safe to say that the T-mo version is going to be locked & loaded with bloatware? Also who will handle updates? Sorry if these questions have already been answered.
Finally got mine today along with the case! I'd let y'all know how it is, but I made the mistake of letting my wife set it up for me and I can't get her to give it up :D
@Brooks Barnard Damn him.. I'll watch it though x)
@Brooks Barnard I hear ya. What's most "irritating" to me is how the retail stores got the jump on everything. I read a few post from people just walking into Sam's Club and buying one off the shelf.
:/ no charge or email yet. Pre-ordered during the announcement back on the 27th. Pretty disappointing so far, but hey, First World Problems right?
@SeanStanick AnandTech's review put my mind at ease for now. Their tests showed that not only is it brighter than the Galaxy Nexus, but also brighter than the Galaxy S 2. And that seems to be the consensus of the reviews I've been checking out as well. Guess I'll find out for myself tomorrow.
I'd like to know more about the screen brightness. I've had a Galaxy Nexus for a bit now and overall it's a really great phone, but the brightness is one thing that seems a bit dull overall compared to my old Galaxy S 2, which was super bright. I'm really hoping this is on par with the Galaxy S 2, in terms of brightness.
Wow, it's pretty slick so far, nice!
I REALLY hope they don't keep the thumbpad.. that's such a turn off.
