Ok, so the new RS it will be AWD...but what about the ST commercial that I saw. The cars (hatchback and wagon) pretty much stayed oversteering all the time. And with FWD. It could be that the tuning be so great?

@Mike Garrett @greenroadster  You can bet that if that happens, it will be for the EcoBoost engine. Nobody here is really interested in buying a new car with an American V8 in it. If I want a V8 it will be an BMW, Audi or Mercedes. Throw in a Ford Mustang with the 4 cylinder turbo engine and you will have a big surprise :))) It will be another game.

First I want to clearly say the I hate American cars. They are huge, boring, similar designs, no corner abilities and have interiors like hotel rooms in the '70's. Ahh, and they also need engines twice as big as European cars for the same power output.

But....there's a new car that I love.

The new Mustang EcoBoost.

Man, I just love the new shape, the independent rear suspension and this 2.3 liter turbo engine.

I really do believe that if Ford puts it on sale on every dealership in the world, with this engine not the V8, it will sell like ice cream in a hot day.

BTW, in my country I have to pay 5000 euro to register the V8 and 200 euro to register the EcoBoost.

Also, the annual tax is 1200 euro for the V8 and 110 euro for the EcoBoost.

When I saw "Visit Romania" livery, my heart started to run faster. But the car is in Monte Carlo. Just François Delecour being what it really is - a friend for our Romanian nation. I really appreciate the guy, being active and competitive at his age. Maybe next time SH will show everybody that we really do have quite a few amazing roads in this country - according to Jeremy Clarkson and Top Gear anyway - the Transfagarasan and the Transalpina.

@Speedhunters_Bryn @greenroadster  Plans, that I really do have, plenty of them. Low, brown-dark red, really wide tires, steelies, stock body, stock interior, steel roof rack, tow hook for the trailer with my drift Soarer on it. Oh, with inline 6 turbo and manual 5 transmission. And welded diff. :))

I kind of expected that. I don't know how to explain it, but I knew it. Or sense it. It is only natural to evolve and, if Rod isn't quite there yet, it will move into something that will fulfill his life. I could wish him good luck but I know he doesn't need it. I've read Speedhunters since 2011 and I cant ever stop. I hated the site when they changed the format but I always came back for reading something cool from Japan from Dino, seeing something cool in US from Larry Chen or visiting New Zeeland or Australia through some sunny. So Rod, I wish you to find your new hunting pretty soon.

But don't mess with the police and stick to legal speed limits or so...

@Popcorn22  Although this site is written in English, I don't agree the general idea of an LS engine in any car. Yes, the LS is an American engine, and the readers here feel that this engine is "better" or "cool" or whatever. But do you have a limit somewhere? This should be it. This is the limit. Don't do that. It ruins the car even though the engine is more powerful or lighter or reliable. We don't put BMW engines in any new build here in Europe, even though they are very cheap and very powerful. You should have a plan, an idea, not just random parts.

Nice car but what a wrong idea to put an LS motor in there. What happened with the 4G from an EVO? It ruins the car spirit in my opinion anyway. It should have run an 4 cylinder turbocharged from Mitsubishi anyway... But the body looks pretty nice.

Very nice car indeed. I would make a test however - I would take the car in US and I would wait to see if somebody would recognize the Japanese way of doing thins. Even though US has many shops that are achieving great stuff, this car has that obsession for perfection that only Japanese people can put into a car. Love it.

Larry, you're doing it no favor to Vaughn JR show him like that. We all know how it is, you don't need to picture him pissing a brown liquid. We know is full of it. Any formula could easily do without him. But I guess any formula, drift or grip or F1, has a Vaughn JR that they cant get rid of.

While I totally get it why this Porsche is so cool and I admire the work that the owner put into this, I have to say that I feel more close to that RHD Nissan with no front bumper and with the intercooler exposed at that gas station :)) I've done that although in Silvia not a Skyline. Man, what a feeling to come home from deserted roads where you practice drifting, in a old Japanese monster that is louder than a airplane and looses grip at every change of gears in first and second. Even if you don't want it and the Police is watching you :))))

I definitely think that this is the future. Even more, a imagine a new kind of drift course - elevated, part indoors, artificial obstacles and, in the end, I see platforms for drifting, not cars with bodies and chassis. It will be a world where judges cant take favour a driver or another and where sensors can be set to score exactly what humans will wanna see. It will be a world where Vaughn JR will have to change carrier with something more appropriate with him, like wrestling or meat butcher or even a professional bully for hire, but hey, it will be fun as hell to see drifting competition evolving into something bigger and more interesting to see than it already is!

Mad Mike is one awesome driver and a greater man for being the first to lunch Drift 2.0. Ha, what a great name...

I have to say that I kind of expect to read a different story that the one Dino put here. I saw many reviews on the car that all said - It's a gorgeous car but it's not really a Lambo because its the first Lambo that doesn't try to kill you. Yes, they all said that the understeering is a bit too much. If Dino said its ok, I guess its gotta be. Not every car has to drift, does it?

Regarding the looks department....well, seeing one in real life, the pictures doesn't do it justice. It's way cooler than seeing pictures. The Huracan is one of the most stunning car I have ever see. Period.
