Every time I see an article like that, I miss having the big RWD sedans from Japan here in Europe

@speedhunters_dino @greenroadster I'm feeling that the BMW Series 1 & 2 are the last RWD "small" cars in the world. I hope they stick with RWD and not go the Mercedes way.

What car is that in the first picture on the fourth chapter? It's a Toyota Crown or what? I wonder what gearbox is using....

Cool car in cool city. I always believed that Porsche treated the USA in a different approach than Europe.

Watching this photos I realized that the Nissan Silvia S14 (240SX) is still the best looking car doing a drift ever. Also, doesn't look dated either. Cool cars indeed.

I wonder if touching me, a car, I lack something emotionally in my life.....Mmmmmm....No, I don't think so. I'm pretty balanced when sharing a tear here.

@FredricAasbo Thanks Fredric, I take your word on that :) But I'll stick with my 1JZ. I'll stop here because I don't wanna start another comments regarding also a weird choice - the engine. So, besides taking a ugly FWD car to make it a drift base, now you have to work with the 2AR instead of....whatever from Toyota... :))))

Here is a question for you - what do you think drifting scene would be in 10 years or so? What cars? What engines? Regulations?

@KNT - And if someone makes an airplane using a Scion tC base, do you think that Cessna pilots would be interested in this particular ugly car?

@SuzyWallace - I would rather have an answer regarding this particular red car witch is not at all a wrc car. I was just saying that I don't want to talk to WRC teams, don't care. Really wanna talk with Aasbo team. Same question. Why tC? Why FWD base? BTW, the topic with the sales boosting is quite lame. If Toyota wants to sell Land Cruisers, Aasbo should make a drift car out of it?

@SuzyWallace - Why are we talking WRC here? Nobody said anything about 4x4 and rally. Are you?

Cool car. Are you implying that the WRC spec EVO is something else than 5x114 stud pattern?

I don't get it. The thing with the tC. Why take a FWD coupe and make it a drift car? It's not lighter. It's not cooler. It hasn't got powerful engines. Nissan should really consider making new S-chassis. And Toyota should really reconsider the MR2, a new Celica RWD and a new Supra.

With this Citroen H Van in Japan, I think that this amazing country just has it all the goodness in this auto world, in. I only saw this vans in Belgium and rural French villages. There, those little vans looked in the right place. In Japan, its like a UFO.

I can't express a feeling about new rules in F1 but I do remember the first time the turbo car have entered F1. It was awesome! Huge tires, huge lag, huge power, huge wings, huge balls! Renault was then the master of all cars on the track. After 30 years, I don't see why it cant be awesome again. Yes, the sound is weird. I'm thinking that this progress will continue, in few years we will have F1 cars with even smaller engines and even bigger turbo's and electrical engines. I'll bet that in 10 years or less we will see F1 cars all wheel drive with electric engines driven the front wheels. It will appear that today cars were not really modern, efficient or economical at all.

Really cool cars. And really cool garages. Too bad that in Europe they look like a dealer service. You don't get that kind of friendship.

I am the only one who thinks that the price was really low? 100 million euro's? I think only from the advertising it will make that amount in 2 years. You have Formula 1, all the big names with all the sports cars from the entire world have garages there, you have all year round thousands of privateers paying tolls.....and not forget 22 km of the best track in the world with a really big forest and at a good part of a small mountain in your property. With 10 million euro you can make a small karting track with 1200 m of track, stands for 200 people and garages for 40 karts. That's it. My guess is that Nurburgring worth at least 500 millions or even more.
