@speedhunters_dino @Gareth36 Your right about the old Laurels too....they are Boss! it's a shame Australia doesn't have much of a JDM vintage scene........100k is fairly low km wise here, and very low for a car such as those Leopards, i reckon they look pretty good from the front too.

This has become one of my favourite shows of the year, i was looking forward to this years edition...thanks Dino!
@SuzyWallace @Gareth36 I figured it out! The only difference was the two computers i use every day were not working but the other two which may have never seen SH before were so i went to settings (in chrome)---show advanced settings-----privacy, clear browsing data. and now it works...
Thanks for the reply...........it was driving me crazy

can anyone tell me why the new presentation mode isn't working for me! out of the 4 computers i have access to it works on two of them and not on the other two.
@speedhunters_dino @shiftyXTI Any ideas as to why my presentation mode has stopped working? it's only happened in the last week or so... just doesn't do anything when i click on it. the download wallpaper button still works though

I think the new super gt car looks awesome!
this may just be the first article where i have really appreciated the new format, so many desktops saved!
btw. the chapters still suck big time, why - well if you don't read in presentation mode (which is what I prefer mostly) then once you have finished reading the article you cant just hit back to return to where you were....gave it a chance, still don't like it.

@SimonRaymondWatling I believe it's where the 'pop-off valve' which limited the boost pressure for the 1992 season was located. I think the Winfield car that won Bathurst retains it's one (presumably to remain 100% original)

@speedhunters_dino I'm in australia, nice to know the Japanese have too much class to do such things, it's like all the lancers i see here with evo kits but skinny little wheels and peashooter exhausts.

@speedhunters_dino 80-90 degrees is normal on a skyline, when i saw the gauge reading 110 i thought that was on the warm side, unless you had just been 'giving it abit'. anyway motul 300V is one of the best synthetic oils out there, i highly doubt the porsche is running anything thats group V (which is the group that 300V belongs to)
ahhh so that's what the people that stick GTR badges on their shitty 4 door R33s are trying to imitate,
BEAST! great photos.
1 year, 2 months ago on Face To Face With The Destroyer
@Lastspark If you owned one of these cars you would know how unreliable the factory gauges can be, and even if they are working properly they arn't all that accurate. particularly a water temp gauge with no numbers on it.

Great timing on this one Brad, i'm in the middle of watching the 92 race at the moment on dvd as I wasn't in the right part of the world back in the early 90's. Have been trying to find out more info on this car but it's slim pickings.
WRX's and Evo's from Group A though, thats news to me!

@Brocky_X I wasn't saying that was everyone's attitude just seems like a large percentage thats all, it's a shame australia hasn't got the same import scene as NZ.
I might actually watch some v8 supercars next year, hopefully nissan and mercedes will put on a good show. loved a line i read in the paper regarding the nissan - "the engine will have to be checked to ensure no unfair advantage as it is lighter and has a much more free flowing head" .....haha
1 year, 9 months ago on The Luxury Rocket: Nissan Gt-r Egoist
I can't stand the general australian motoring enthusiasts (read: GM loving bogan) attitude to japanese cars (particularly the GT-R, and the 86/BRZ) here is an example (http://news.drive.com.au/drive/car-of-the-year/drive-car-of-the-year-toyota-86-gt-20121126-2a2tj.html#comments) (scroll down to comments). the recent article on the GT-R improving it's ring time was much worse but that article has now gone. basically the theme is this: jap crap (amazing how much that term come up) and that all the japanese do is copy the hard work of others (apparently the GT-R is a copy of a 911 turbo, i see little similarities but anyway).
anyway thats my rant of the day, not really into the egoist, in my opinion the early GT-R's looked by far the best (without stupid LED's and with the old wheels)
I'm not sure which is more entertaining, the article or the comments.

Sean, can you please teach Dino how to do the desktops the way you do them (not when you have to click on the thumbnail, and then click on the thumbnail again in the page that opens up) thanks! enjoying this years sema coverage..............awesome.

@777 @sean klingelhoefer I find it hard to think of a worse car for 'the streets' than this! don't get me wrong, i love the car but get it out on the open road or the track where it belongs, not puttering around in the city/suburbia. i feel sorry for it.

@speedhunters_dino instead of 1920 x 1200 its coming up 256 x 170 (does it when i just click on the image and also when i save link as) i'll just try and goto another post and see if i can get others to work, never had a problem before though.
Is it just me or are the desktops not the right size?
