Thanks Jarrod, i'll have to try and make it next year!
Great timing on this one Brad, i'm in the middle of watching the 92 race at the moment on dvd as I wasn't in the right part of the world back in the early 90's. Have been trying to find out more info on this car but it's slim pickings.
WRX's and Evo's from Group A though, thats news to me!
@Brocky_X I wasn't saying that was everyone's attitude just seems like a large percentage thats all, it's a shame australia hasn't got the same import scene as NZ.
I might actually watch some v8 supercars next year, hopefully nissan and mercedes will put on a good show. loved a line i read in the paper regarding the nissan - "the engine will have to be checked to ensure no unfair advantage as it is lighter and has a much more free flowing head" .....haha
I can't stand the general australian motoring enthusiasts (read: GM loving bogan) attitude to japanese cars (particularly the GT-R, and the 86/BRZ) here is an example (http://news.drive.com.au/drive/car-of-the-year/drive-car-of-the-year-toyota-86-gt-20121126-2a2tj.html#comments) (scroll down to comments). the recent article on the GT-R improving it's ring time was much worse but that article has now gone. basically the theme is this: jap crap (amazing how much that term come up) and that all the japanese do is copy the hard work of others (apparently the GT-R is a copy of a 911 turbo, i see little similarities but anyway).
anyway thats my rant of the day, not really into the egoist, in my opinion the early GT-R's looked by far the best (without stupid LED's and with the old wheels)
I'm not sure which is more entertaining, the article or the comments.
@speedhunters_dino thats like saying a car is as good as it's driver. true, but not.
Haha that OKK milling machine is the exact model i used to use in my apprentice days (and i have never seen another one), they are a little beast of a machine!
Sean, can you please teach Dino how to do the desktops the way you do them (not when you have to click on the thumbnail, and then click on the thumbnail again in the page that opens up) thanks! enjoying this years sema coverage..............awesome.
it certainly wouldn't be only $750 if it had been machined from billet that's for sure.
@777 @sean klingelhoefer I find it hard to think of a worse car for 'the streets' than this! don't get me wrong, i love the car but get it out on the open road or the track where it belongs, not puttering around in the city/suburbia. i feel sorry for it.
i don't know how it works for others but in Australia the US prices work out to be way cheaper than the EU ones.
The KURE R33 has always been one of my favourite JGTC GT-Rs my heart almost skipped a beat when i saw it in this post, shame it wasn't the real deal. Thanks for including it though!
@speedhunters_dino @Amin_nfs it's an R33
@speedhunters_dino ok i have no idea whats going on i went back to the Jagermeister K3 and tried those ones worked fine, tried your 911 ones, no good so i'm thinking well it's something to to with your posts only but then i tried the kremer factory tour ones and they weren't working either..............shit just got your message......trying now........yep that works.....cheers, usually they pop straight up in HD when i click the thumbnail
@speedhunters_dino instead of 1920 x 1200 its coming up 256 x 170 (does it when i just click on the image and also when i save link as) i'll just try and goto another post and see if i can get others to work, never had a problem before though.
Is it just me or are the desktops not the right size?
@Larry Chen i thought it was pretty funny!
I'll take Aki's 33 for sure! Does it have the Tomei exhaust aswell or was it taken off after the advertising photo shoot?
