Nice to see that someone else found that Ferrari, I couldn't believe it when I stumbled across it right at the back of the paddock.
Wow, what a festival. Definite bucket-list material.
@KietaPhillips Because the US is too fixated on making cars and their engines as big as possible. There was no market for tiny Escorts with 4 cylinder engines.
That poor Porsche...
Wow.
I really think that the Euro and US GT series could learn a lot from Super GT. Instead of GT1 cars just being V8 versions of GT3 cars, I'd love to GT500 style cars racing there. Still recognisable as road cars, but a step above, like GT1 was back in the late 90's.
Easily the best and most well thought out piece written in the whole debate, nice one :)
Brilliant article Paddy. What I'd give to do this round Donington Park. Maybe sneak a wander round the Norton factory or an after-hours trip to the museum.
Hahaha, I guess that means no more BDC coverage on here then? What's your reason for having this 'no replicas' policy? Will that spread to replica race cars and unofficial kit cars? Cars with homemade Louis Vuitton or Bride interiors?
Greedy cunt
How could you use the word stance in an article like this?! Lol. Also, it's no surprise that that Mustang goes faster than Kremer 935s nowadays, seeing as an original Kremer is worth several times what that Mustang is worth. The same reason that Arrows win all the historic F1 races whilst McLarens and Ferraris are nowhere to be seen.
Love these articles, easily the best regular post on Speedhunters
Great article, any chance of having a snoop round the other top teams?
@Mark Reyes Incorrect lol. 2 seconds is a big gain for one team, I agree. There was a 5.2 second difference between first and last in F1 qualifying at the Hungaroring and that's in one of the strictest formulae in motorsport. 2 seconds gain for all that aero seems very, very disappointing over what looks to be pretty basic, tried and tested aero on the Tilton Interiors Evo.
Awesome, can't wait for this coverage! Hopefully lots of retro Fiestas in it!
What this guy said. All that ridiculous aero for 2 seconds advantage over a standard Evo with normal cannards, they must be so disappointed with that.
Great photos. I know the McLarens are pretty fast, but I didn't realise they went trans-sonic ;) Lol. That's no pressure wave, it's just the spray being picked up by the air flow over the car.
@Larry Chen That's not quite what I meant. If he'd say, had his workshop burnt down and had to rebuild his car mid-season, that would be a comeback special. Just having a bad start to your season is nothing special.
Come back? Talk about sensationalism...
