What about Carlos Quentin? Stick Quentin in left and let Rivera, Loney, or some other stiff platoon at first base. Just a thought. I haven't looked at Rivera's splits (thought I'm sure his defense is terrible), but I know Loney has a profound LHP/RHP split for his career and a platoon may make him more palatable.
