@kyogre325 It's been going great the past two days. I think you'll enjoy Android and Me, especially with all of us over there. But yeah, it's definitely sad to see DroidDog go.

@RaduTanasescu Four. Two high end, two mid end. One high end phone for the masses, the "Nexus 4" of the bunch, if you will. One mid end phone for those who can't afford a high end phone. And two phones for niche categories, rugged and point and shoot.

@Rambohacker Of course! But a lot of people prefer to simply stream it and keep their SD card free of music. But that pre-load option is always there, and with today's update, downloading is even faster than before.

@JQuest81 I like the look of iOS 7 too! It looks pretty nice, in my opinion. Just wish they would get rid of the crayons. Glad you liked that one! And yeah, I'm really excited to update my father's iPhone 5 and play with it. Though I love Android, I'm always excited to try out something new.

@MatteoRodrigo  @jpb I actually disagree with you on "manufacturers could care less about Android.." part. Samsung cares quite a bit. The AT&T Galaxy S II just got an update to Android 4.1.2 with all the features of the Galaxy S III, and as an owner of the S II, I absolutely adore this new update, It breathes new life into this device. Plus, the S III and Note II will be getting the new TouchWiz UX from the S 4 eventually.

@TheDark_Knight With any device that's 4.1 and above, like the Galaxy S II and Galaxy S III (in Europe on 4.1.2) and Galaxy Note II (same, only 4.1.2), and now Galaxy S 4, Samsung gives you a menu to customize your toggles! I can get you screenshots of this UI if you'd like, but on my S 4 and S II and Note II, I have them set up to my preferences.

@MatteoRodrigo Yep, my photo was from a Galaxy S 4. I specifically chose TouchWiz because of the layout. Toggles, then brightness, then music is EXACTLY how Apple did it. Made me chuckle. And it doesn't matter if you have a Mac or PC, choose the phone based on software preference! Play with an iPhone, try out some new Android devices like the HTC One and Galaxy S 4 (their speed and usability blows the aging GNex out of the water, even though the GNex is still great).

@SkyPira Yep. But while a lot of people may find that more appealing, it would cause confusion with the general public. S III didn't really look like a word, but combining a letter and a roman numeral beyond that is not the smartest thing. S IV looks like SIV, which could look like siv. What's a SIV? I know it seems silly, but I guarantee there would be confusion from quite a few people. And it's Samsung's job to make their branding as clear as possible. So while S 4 is nowhere near as pretty or elegant, it's probably for the best.

@BrainRoopull Actually, as far as I know, Google Now had to be hacked a LOT, for a long time, to get it working on ICS. I know this because I used Google Now on ICS, and it was a mess for the longest time. It integrated with APIs only available on Jelly Bean, which could not just be put on the Play Store for ICS devices. They were OS level. This is why Google's latest efforts are to put APIs into Google Play Services, which update separately from firmware. Google Now on iOS is far more limited (I have used it), and this is due to restrictive APIs. But Apple makes those APIs available across all their devices, because of fast updates. So don't start blaming Google! They are actually getting around the updating issues with firmware-agnostic APIs.

@BrettBron To get this style, you'll need the Colourform theme for HD Widgets. Right now, it's an extra $0.99 (I don't like that they're charging for a theme for a paid app). Then you'll be able to switch themes while creating a widget at the top. It can really easily match the "Nexus" styling Google made, so it may be worth a purchase for you.
