That under-slung roadster was NOT built by Joe Moreno. It was built by a man named Richard Riddell. He built the car for around $5,000. He has also restored a 50s show car called the Black Widow, among other cars. Unfortunatley Richard past away a few years ago. He was a great builder and I just want to see him get his due credit.

It is so cool to see dirt  track racing on Speedhunters. I've been involved with demo derbys & dirt tracks since i was a little kid. My local dirt track just reopened last summer after being closed for a decade & even though renovations have been ongoing every single weekend there is a huge crowd. Unfortunatley I have to go to Flint to see any Outlaws run but we always have Stock, Late Model & Modified cars run. For alot of guys this is their Nascar but it's still a family oriented event (for both the spectators & racers) Im out at the track just about every weekend with my dad and i cant wait to share it with my kids!

The most mindblowing part of this whole post is the fact that you own a 2wd pickup... where I am from the most popular vehicles are 4x4 pickups & i couldnt fathom not having 4wd. My dad always had a snide comment whenever we passed a 2wd pickup or any with a short (<8ft) bed, "They shoulda bought a car!"  Love the offroad coverage though! Car Culture is more then cars ya know

Im torn between the Jagermister K3 & the Kiwi S1 both are such Incredible & individual machines! Although nearly every car in here is a top notch example in both looks AND performance!

@NicolasSerre Really great shot but I'm curious as to what kind of event you shot this at because I've only seen Legends run at the local short track speedways & that shot looks like a road course...

That green ford coupe... absolute perfection! & the sad thing about that funky art car is that it started out as a Chrysler Imperial... of course they were funky looking cars to begin with but they were very luxurious handmade cars & they are really rare now

The Charger is cool... but I can't believe you skipped over the Road Runner drag car next to it! Pro-street Chargers are everywhere but when is that last time you saw a modified Plymouth?... let alone a sweet drag car that looks street legal! I hope its from the same shop as the Charger & we can get a closer look at it in the future

I normally hate pastel colors on any rod... but that '26 roadster looks great! It has all the right traditonal touches (that winshield is an esspecialy nice custom touch!) & that color really works well with those Radirs & white walls. It definitly stands out!

Wow its so cool to see Lutz & Larson at the same event. Lutz's 57 is bad ass! If your interested Sean there is a great video by Hot Rod of this years drag week that shows both of those cars running on the street & going 10/10ths at the strip. Just search "Roadkill" on Youtube & the Drag week video will be one of the first videos

@Jamie Binnie its the same car. That intercooler piping gives it away. I have a picture of that car when it was pink & it matches perfectly. & he broke the 6 second barrier at drag week a few months ago so im sure he changed the plate to reflet that

@Tony240Z I was not aware that was the case. I thought that they were new vehicles based on origonal parts, but i did a little research after I posted & I agree with you. Even though I think they look great they should not have cut up & drastically changed the origonal cars. Esspecially since they were rare to begin with. :(
