I feel the "SEC fatigue" is being self created by teams like the Buckeyes. Instead of hyping themselves up and celebrating themselves this summer, they are more focused on how they stack up against a conference they will only play in a bowl/championship game.
One thing is for damn sure, you will not hear a single SEC school mention Ohio State this summer, or fall for that matter, until a matchup against them happens to fall into place.
Enjoy your summer of comparisons, Buckeyes. We'll enjoy ours of preparations.
But I thought only Bama and LSU produced NFL talent?? Guess the Bammer Jammers and ESPN were wrong all along.
I have a great deal of respect for Georgia Southern and their program. Though i despise that TO scheme they run, mainly due to the cut-blocking involved, I hope the Dawgs find a way to win not only big, but with a ton of class.
I know multiple Southern alum who are still on their high horses over the yardage they put up against Alabama last year (sound familiar? Tech fans?), and legitimately feel the Eagles have a chance to upset the Dawgs. It makes me giggle while wanting to pat their heads three or four times in a display of pity, southern "bless your little hearts."
Georgia- 42
Southern- 14 (7 in garbage time)
Check out LHB being represented on the Huffington Post today!!!

There you have it. Great exposure for LHB!!
@mcgill I like the idea of switching it up as well! How awesome would it look with the bulldog head in place of the G for the final three home games?
I feel like there is a lot of opportunity to do some really fun things with the field.
@StephenRowland He seemed very out of shape post-first quarter. I am sure that will change as the season goes on, but he was seen more times with his hands on his hips, panting, than in hot pursuit of Rogers.
This is actually the first time I have feared the Buffalo game.
If the "guy on a buffalo" ends up being their head coach as they bust on the field, I am turning the channel. We would have no chance.
@GABirdDAWG My use of the word "child" was meant to be taken as a status in the conference, not necessarily his actual age. It is not common for a "child", or true freshman, to come into what is essentially the NFL minor league conference and make immediate impact.
I certainly hope Gurley or Marshall come in and put up Lattimore numbers right away. But it's not likely.
This Russia video had me in tears!! My wife got mad at me because she was trying to watch one of her tacky USA television shows, and I was uncontrollably laughing next to her.
@RaleighDawg Way too kind! But thank you.
@GoDawgs90 His chances are very low, if not impossible, to be a next Drew Brees. But their sizes are identicle, so there is absolutely no way you can point to size as a disadvantage. Brees killed that already.
@TheLadySportswriter The program Murray just started is a two year process. He mentioned to Chip Towers that he has set his academic schedule for two years. This quote is what inspired writing this article. I truly feel Murray's future is in his field of study, and he feels the same.
@brewchiprecruit I know several people who admit booing Crowell.
He was frustrating. He pissed the fanbase off.
It's hard to boo a player after he pulls himself out and is then on the bench, when the fans didn't know he wasn't coming back (KY). He was not even in pads for Tech, so why boo him then? But when he ran into the center, then pulled himself out of the SECCG, the fans noticed, and were pissed off.
It's embarrassing, especially when other fanbases call us out on it. But it happened. And I don;t even feel bad about it now that we know more about Crowell than we wish to know.
@BartowCoDawg *** I mean the SEC beats EACH OTHER up.
@BartowCoDawg Yeah, I honestly went back and forth between Oklahoma and Florida State. But I think the Sooners benefit from a down and depleted Big 12 this year, and get to skip the Championship Game weekend, and role into the BCS Championship game undefeated, where they meet a USC Trojan team who only lost 1 game (Oregon), but just lay an egg on the national stage.
Also, I think this year is finally the year the rest of the country has been waiting for, and the SEC truly beats everybody up. Every SEC team has at least 2 losses.
@Gh79 I certainly appreciat you taking the time to read. All of my answers and articles are up for debate, and would love your input to better solutions. That's what this is all about.
And am I a homer?? You bet your ass!!
1. Very strange to watch the Lindsay Scott play without Munson. That actually might have been my first time watching it.
2. LOVE the Drive By Truckers!! I have my ticket for August 28th at the Georgia Theater! Going to be a good night.
