Because religion has become detrimental to me by breaking my family up, I have become an anti-theist. By doing research on a regular basis I have become an angry atheist because the more I learn ,the more I realize what a divisive, power-hungry, money collecting, controlling scam religion is. The ignorance and refusal of the majority of mankind to question their ridiculous beliefs irks me to no end. If I can help put religion where it belongs, in the past, then I have done mankind a service.

It appears that the Catholic Church/Vatican/Pope think that rape is a joke! They keep blaming it on the helpless victims, moving around their rapists and avoiding prosecution. I guess the Pope is rolling around in his gold coins laughing his head off!
Television is our best source for communicating information with the internet a close second. When I turn on the tv I intentionally look for programs that will enlighten my brain. Such as Science, History, Drama and Arts. I love the Discovery Channel, or any channel that stimulates my thinking. Too bad most people only want to be entertained with stupidity; i.e. soap operas, cartoons, sports, brainless entertainment...... No wonder, the majority believe in magic!
Evolution too difficult to understand? Try religion ! We really have become a nation of zombies. Ask people to think critically and you get, " But, it hurts my brain!" With an attention span of 20 minutes at best, no wonder America is so far behind in Science & Math education. Time to use our most influential form of media to educate the public masses, TV.
I wish I could buy a wall mural of that picture and post it on every wall and the ceiling of my living room!
Sorry, but ignorance of the real world leads to religion and religion leads to hatred, bigotry and dominance! There no longer is an excuse for the saying, "It gives me comfort and explains life and death issues." Christians, Jews, Muslims are just looking for an excuse to do evil in the name of their god. Any men who create a god who would tell you to worship him and accept him or you will burn in hell, are the ones, along with their make-believe god, who should roast in that inferno themselves. Refusal to accept the natural world and all the facts that Science has worked so hard to discover is a total cop out. We are living longer, have a better life and think more critically because of Scientists who bust their ass to give us the truth. We are still learning and evolving. Imagine a few hundred years from now the majority of people will look back and say, " To think that people were deluded enough to believe in a book of fairy tales, that was full of horrid stories, and supposedly gave comfort to those who refused to open their eyes, is an atrocity to mankind!"
