@ctex Then you add in racism with "privileged white kid" remark. This incident as proved that In Amercian you can say anthing you want, regardless of how stupid.
John, the TP Jeff Duncan article on LSU/A&M is just foolish smack talk that never should have gotten by his editor and certainly isn't worthy of MrSec.
Tiger4, is that LSU, Auburn or Mizzou tiger? I can understand why you're so confused!
I think you protest too much Texas! When somebody does something like this, they can't keep their mouths shut. That "name I will not mention," who poisened the Auburn tree had to let people know he did it. Eventually, the truth will surface. Baylor? Texas? FSU? demented Aggie or Gator own? I think it was Col Mustard, in the Library with a pipe. What a weird, strange situation! Let's play football this Saturday!!!!! You've got to admit, this is a new one.
RedClay seems a bit too nervous, but it is understandable! Two maroon-"goon" yearly beat downs
is not a pleasant prospect.
@"mystery" Guest When I first read your post I couldn't figure out if you were drunk or just really stupid. I read it the second time and I realized you're both. So, asyou tell it, A&M was holding the Big12-2 hostage demanding unequal rev-share and when OU and texas opened their wallets to Iowa and Kansas, A&M left for the SEC, a conference that REVENUE shares. Idiotic. PAC didn'twant OU because of their AAU standing and the bundling with Okie State. PAC didn't take texas because texas doesn't rev share and clings to the failing HornNetwork. Facts. No one hates the Big12 or whatever, play football. It's amazing that after Colorado, Nebraska, Mizzou and A&M walk away, you don't realize the stink you smell is you. If rationalizing A&M is your "little brother" complex, knock yourself out, whatever get you through the night.
@Jamesgoss @Savannah I'm sure James is right, that's pretty much the way I understood it. I've always used "tu" because it really seems to annoy them and ties in with "Tea Sips" or "TSips" (story for another time).
Yes, I think you will agree with yourself that Nebraska, Colorado, Mizzou and aTm are "petulant." and inferior.
Thanks John, didn't mean to imply you called us a "push over," just fans in general (my mistake). Enjoy your site and appreciate your commentary. Thanks Again!
John,
On the NCAA or Football Foundation web sites they describe attendance at college football is still on the increase. I too heard the studies that HD TV is killing attendance, for sure in the "Pros." I think the drop off is more due to the economy than anything else. Other posters have brought up good points that A&M alumni base is still growing and we have more student seating than any other college (we hold the national record). Now in the SEC we must offer up more visitor seating, those Aggies have to go somewhere! I'm sure all these factors will be taken into consideration during the announced study.
Don't take it personal if Aggies dissagree with you. We have a lot to learn about the SEC, but you have a lot to learn about us. A&M hasn't won a Nat'l Champ. since 1939, but can still fill a stadium and we have no intention of becoming a "push over." Time will tell, painfully, but time will tell. If not, just accept the proven fact "Everything's big in Texas!"
