Arrogance is an unflattering trait, especially the inability to admit you're wrong. Manziel DID NOT bump Sumlin, it's plain to see. Rather than admit your err when told the truth, you call the coach and reporter liars. Don't bother responding, I won't ever be back to this site to see it. Lack of credibility is not a trait that draws one to a news site.

@bamaboyintn Actually they were mostly ancedotal, American folklore and legend. But we all loved Paul Harvey. Good day.

As Paul Harvey might say, "Here's the rest of the story." http://houston.cbslocal.com/2013/08/28/source-re-manziel-a-client-list-that-could-have-turned-ncaas-world-upside-down/#.Uh58mJvZ96A.twitterld
Well, there's ONE school ESPN won't investigate or hate, and that's their business partner the Univ of Texas. You're not being honest with yourself if you don't admit that's true.
3 months, 2 weeks ago on As Its Investigation Winds Down, NCAA Officials Meet With A&M’s Manziel
I don't know, I'll have to take your word that he's capable of being more than an Alabama homer. Personally, I think he's made a complete ass of himself in the Manziel coverage. His great, insightful comments on everything he heard someone else report was aweful. SEC media days he just couldn't let it go. I've never even heard him mention Arkansas, the Mississippi schools or anyone from the East. We'll see I guess.

@HoustonVol I grew up in College Station and went to A&M. There wasn't a day as a young man when I couldn't wait to get out of that place and see the world, make my way, however you want to put it. Never meant I "hated" the place except in exasperation, which, if you remember, is a characteristic of youth. You don't know what Manziel felt and really, you don't know what happened that night, nor do I. More importantly, why would it even be news? The times we live in.
4 months ago on A&M’ers Comparing Manziel To Other Autograph Signers Are Off Base
Foul, I mean't foul. Although, a Gamecock is a fowl, uhmmmm. Best wish to both schools!
I recognize now that you've just channeled your inner Walter Brennan and you have no intention of budging off your "Aggies are mean to Clowney"position.I'm sorry YOU got the news from a pro-Aggie web site (although other sites broke the story first) about the Clowney coincidence. Would you really feel better if you found out with a 24/7 splash by ESPN? Would Joe Schad saying he saw a movie of Clowney make it easier for you to accept? If NCAA had come to you and asked assistance in investigating USC, that would be, only then, a legitimate concern? It's rampant in CFB, that has always been the ONLY point. I pray no fowl comes to Manziel or Clowney.Your "Hey Aggies, take one for the NCAA and shut up about it" is about as "finkish" as any one could imagine. Thanks for reading, enjoy your site.
@John. The Aggie site you refer to wasn't the first to bring up the similarities of Johnny and Clowney and autographs for sale, it was from BustedCoverage. But, here's what the Aggie writer wrote about your remarks: "I don't really mind his comments [John]. Clowney
was the easiest comparison in terms of fame and volume of items. After
bustedcoverage got a story out, I felt like I should go with what I had. It's
the very tip of a huge iceberg and the end goal is not to tear down Clowney but
to show a possibly pervasive problem. This is not just about Johnny."
It's not your problem that ESPN is dipictiing this as Johnny signs bulk, here in a hotel room with a autograph pusher=guilty. Yet, as Clowney is an example, does the same thing..so does Braxton and Bridgewater to some extent. [I can't prove that or anyone else] and their school says all good here . ESPN remains silent. And jhonestly, Maziel isn't just going to "take one" for the NCAA. Like it or not, this is a college football wide concern.
Don't know how it will end, but there's no need to stir up hate between Aggies and USC. That will come in Atlanta when Johnny stiff arms Clowney and knocks his helmet into the stands. (See what I did there? That's how you start a good hate.)

John, the TP Jeff Duncan article on LSU/A&M is just foolish smack talk that never should have gotten by his editor and certainly isn't worthy of MrSec.

Tiger4, is that LSU, Auburn or Mizzou tiger? I can understand why you're so confused!

Shouldn't you be Colonel Bear?
I think you protest too much Texas! When somebody does something like this, they can't keep their mouths shut. That "name I will not mention," who poisened the Auburn tree had to let people know he did it. Eventually, the truth will surface. Baylor? Texas? FSU? demented Aggie or Gator own? I think it was Col Mustard, in the Library with a pipe. What a weird, strange situation! Let's play football this Saturday!!!!! You've got to admit, this is a new one.
RedClay seems a bit too nervous, but it is understandable! Two maroon-"goon" yearly beat downs
is not a pleasant prospect.
1 year, 3 months ago on Aggies To Put “SEC Country” Billboards Up Across The Lone Star State
@"mystery" Guest When I first read your post I couldn't figure out if you were drunk or just really stupid. I read it the second time and I realized you're both. So, asyou tell it, A&M was holding the Big12-2 hostage demanding unequal rev-share and when OU and texas opened their wallets to Iowa and Kansas, A&M left for the SEC, a conference that REVENUE shares. Idiotic. PAC didn'twant OU because of their AAU standing and the bundling with Okie State. PAC didn't take texas because texas doesn't rev share and clings to the failing HornNetwork. Facts. No one hates the Big12 or whatever, play football. It's amazing that after Colorado, Nebraska, Mizzou and A&M walk away, you don't realize the stink you smell is you. If rationalizing A&M is your "little brother" complex, knock yourself out, whatever get you through the night.

@Jamesgoss @Savannah I'm sure James is right, that's pretty much the way I understood it. I've always used "tu" because it really seems to annoy them and ties in with "Tea Sips" or "TSips" (story for another time).

Yes, I think you will agree with yourself that Nebraska, Colorado, Mizzou and aTm are "petulant." and inferior.
1 year, 8 months ago on A&M Might Build A New Stadium Due To SEC Move
Thanks John, didn't mean to imply you called us a "push over," just fans in general (my mistake). Enjoy your site and appreciate your commentary. Thanks Again!
On the NCAA or Football Foundation web sites they describe attendance at college football is still on the increase. I too heard the studies that HD TV is killing attendance, for sure in the "Pros." I think the drop off is more due to the economy than anything else. Other posters have brought up good points that A&M alumni base is still growing and we have more student seating than any other college (we hold the national record). Now in the SEC we must offer up more visitor seating, those Aggies have to go somewhere! I'm sure all these factors will be taken into consideration during the announced study.
Don't take it personal if Aggies dissagree with you. We have a lot to learn about the SEC, but you have a lot to learn about us. A&M hasn't won a Nat'l Champ. since 1939, but can still fill a stadium and we have no intention of becoming a "push over." Time will tell, painfully, but time will tell. If not, just accept the proven fact "Everything's big in Texas!"
