I should say, "I question the conclusion" - not the numbers.
I question these numbers. Do consumers like bigger screens, or has there been a lack of quality small screen Android Phones to date? Every new flagship Android has a bigger and bigger screen.
Now that the Nexus 7 is out, I have much less of a need for a large screen on my smartphone. It can go back to being small because anything I want to do on a larger screen I'll do on the N7. Yet, when I review the market for a nice small-screen Android phone, nothing is very compelling...
Confused title/body - are we talking Galaxy Nexus or Galaxy S III?
Chet,
Doesn't that negate one of the benefits of buying a Nexus branded device? If you like stock Android, and you don't want to hassle with researching ROMs to stay up-to-date, Nexus is supposed to be the way to go.
It's about time.
I thought the rumor was Google was working with ASUS? Not Acer? (it appears, though, that that content is from the source link...)
Google+ huzzah!
