Totally agree!  WACK!!  Just from the explanation above I am frustrated by this move by Verizon.  Definitely a consideration as my indentured servitude expires to consider other options.

I think the kickstand idea is excellent.  What I have always wanted but didn't know who to tell is a place on my phone to screw in a tripod.  With phones serving as cameras and video recorders, having a small gorilla tripod attached would be soooooo helpful.  Why hasn't anyone thought of this?
