@Omer If I didn't have respondsibilites with the club I would think that was funny. And your not going to believe this,....but a lot of people in LA don't believe in us.
I just want to let everyone know how disappointed I am in the performence of this team in the last month and a half. However, on the positive side I did get a contract extention!
Man I take a good picture don't I. Juan there looks good too.
Does anybody know where Juan Uribe is? I have been trying to reach him, I have something to tell him.
That ride on the subway is so convenient. But Juan Uribe, I have know all along that he is a professional hitter and is going to be a big asset to us the rest of the season.
@Gilbert_Venge This is in my own voice, but in writing.
There is no reason to DFA Juan Uribe right now. As Mike said he drove in his first run in a month, he's starting to heat up and is making some quality at bats. Also he is historically a second half player. I'm thinking he is something we can look forward to seeing the second half.
I can't help thinking when I read this article that it was a knock on me as a GM. I will say that is a good photo of me and Juan, he sure fills out the uniform well.
@JoeyE @el serracho Rest assured, I'm not interested in Ryan Dempster.
Just heard that Bill Hall is availible on waivers from the Orioles. I like him, he plays second, third and short and could provide some veteran leadership in the clubhouse and some professional at bats coming off the bench.
These are the type of roster decisions I thrive on. I am looking forward to putting the best players on the field now and in the future.
@RealTom You know Tom, I always liked Orlando Hudson. He plays good defense, is a professional hitter and is good in the clubhouse. I would not be surprised to see him back in LA.
@WestonTaylor Same thing happened to me when I was watching the game.
@upton0goode Well the pitcher has to bat somewhere in the order. Would you prefer our pitchers to bat lead off or second. See I understand your a baseball fan and more important a Dodger fan but really, and I mean no disrepect, leave the lineup making to Donnie and I.
What I like about Bobby Abreu and it is not just his offensive potential, but what I really like will be his veteran presence in the club house.
@bleeddodgerblue Can't get rid of me as I put togather the team with the best record in baseball.
Openning week has been fantastic, just the way I thought it would pan out.
