Your statement is the best I've heard lately and hits the nail right on the head. And I agree that so many governors are yes-men to the president and I think it's because they're actually afraid to go against him for fear of some kind of reprisal. Again it's a case of leaders and representatives not having the courage to stand up on principle....they've got it all backwards and tend instead to cater to the feds.
I've asked myself many times, where are the men with backbone in this country? However my late husband said many years ago that even if Billy Graham was elected to office, it wouldn't be long before they had him corrupted. A bit of an exaggeration of course but he used it as sarcasm to make a point.
They may have been trying to fade Christianity from the mainstream for the last thirty years, but it has NOT faded....and WON'T. Read Matt. 16:18
You are obviously unfamiliar with the fact that Christianity is the largest religious organization in the world. All the satanic evil doers on this earth will never gain victory because in the END....WE WIN !!!! Good...that is God....always triumphs, though it may appear otherwise for a season, and evil-doers may have their reward while on this earth for a time. But the bottom line is, earthly existence is nothing compared to the after life in Heaven. So to suffer for the Heavenly reward is far better.
Now some may take issue and say that Heaven cannot be proven to exist......can you prove it doesn't? I could question many reports written in books or by word of mouth.....does that mean they are true? We already know how the mainstream media corrupts the truth eveyr day. History has a way of being written through the bias of the author who writes it and changed at the whim of future teachers.
So having been married to a Mason for 41 years, I think I know a little about symbols etc.
I honestly think you have to take with a grain of salt the legends of various groups because even the spoken word handed down has a way of taking on different themes.
Christianity on the other hand has held fast and will always be true.

Gov. Brewer "folded" because she saw how this bill does NOT make sense. Again I repeat myself.....federal agents will use the exception... "unless the notification would impede the federal officer’s duties." Does anyone think for one second that the feds are not going to use that part of it to their advantage. They will lie, cheat, steal, whatever it takes to find any impediment and avoid notifying the sheriff. Case closed.

Personally I'm stupified that TAC would actually appeal to us to call our legislatures and ask them to override Gov. Brewer's veto. Where are your brains? Can't you see the blatant hypocrisy of this bill that undoubtedly will be a joke if passed. Now come on, stop being so naive.
A. "Before taking any official law enforcement action in a county in this state, a federal law enforcement officer shall notify the sheriff of the county, unless the notification would impede the federal officer’s duties."
That right there is why I would vote against this bill! It is an open door for federal agents to deliberately do their dirty work first by either raiding a citizen's house or business before notitifying the Sheriff, then claim they had no choice because taking time to report to the Sheriff would have caused a serious disruption in their intention to carry out the raid. It's called, making excuses.....hello!!!
Talk about loop holes. No wonder Jan Brewer said it didn't make sense!
Now if I'm wrong, somebody correct me because that's the way I see it. I do NOT trust police or federal agents because I've read too many horror stories!
