@Lobo @mawp yeah i was wondering the same thing
@Turner_for_Treasury i own neither but I'd do XBO if I felt like buying one.
@Chibi Kyle @mawp keep it fun, but still competitive
@DBrim yes, based on no knowledge of ping pong or on how well these guys play it.

@Tym Ive never been in a more crowded building than the IKEA in Atlanta on a holiday weekend. Madness.

@Tym I've been meaning to change for the new season. Just haven't gotten around to it.
@Dave! (Or Justin Turner, Maybe) I had already stopped talking about it. Now I want to start again.
@Disgruntled Goat not bemoaned. Just pointed it out, i guess.
@Disgruntled Goat @Dustin Nosler @Purple Drank @Batted Bob Those runs also independently count for Adrian Gonzales' being an RBI machine.
@Dustin Nosler @Purple Drank @Batted Bob David Vassegh wants you to know that he agrees with Kevin.
@Purple Drank @Batted Bob that's true. And, a source within the organization who talks on the radio every night really likes him and said of the trade, "it is what it is."
@Batted Bob Yeah but he's fast, so...
@Disgruntled Goat @Mike Petriello Also, his labrum appears to be cross-shaped. That doesn't seem normal.

@Disgruntled Goat the more that he has seen them, though, the more just how talented they are is.

I'm not convinced Passan knows what "opportunity cost" means.

@RataTatTom I worded that really poorly. I was referencing the conversation from effectively wild the other day, in which they discuss players with ONLY 1 plate appearance. Of the players with just one plate appearance in their career, none of them hit homeruns. Of the players with just two PAs in their career, none it homeruns.
But of all the players who had just 3 PAs in their career, one guy named Luke Stewart hit a homerun. That's what I was trying to convey.
1 month, 1 week ago on Dodgers Sign Submariner Ben Rowen, A Name Worth Remembering
they start talking about it at 28:55
So there was a player who in 1921 hit a homer on his first PA. He then went 0-2 on his next two PAs, and that was the end of his career. There are no players with 1 or 2 PAs who hit homeruns.
This was all from effectively wild the other day. http://www.baseballprospectus.com/article.php?articleid=25406
@Mike Petriello @PagansOedipalComplex @DBrim Fun fact on that, by the way, the fewest PAs needed to hit a homer in the majors was 3.
@Disgruntled Goat @mawp @Mike Petriello From that article:
4. Jonathan Gray, Rockies: Gray might have the best pure stuff in the Minors, which is why some scouts considered him the best prospect in the 2013 Draft. He drew comparisons with Stephen Strasburg and Gerrit Cole before going No. 3 overall and signing for $4.8 million. Gray's fastball combines outstanding velocity (topping 100 mph) and heavy life, and his slider can be just as devastating.
@Disgruntled Goat @mawp @Mike Petriello I'm only going from the context, like you, so I can't say for sure. But a quick google search reveals that that phrase does exist elsewhere.
@Disgruntled Goat @mawp @Mike Petriello well it is...
@Disgruntled Goat @Mike Petriello heavy things are hard to lift things. is my guess.
@Dave! (Or Justin Turner, Maybe) @capnsparrow Why stop at 9. Fill out a 25 man roster

@Dave! (Or Justin Turner, Maybe) Most people are going to be confused by 20-80 ratings. They will wonder why you gave your own son a B-minus in cuteness or whatever.
@Omer (beercoozie) @BirdBird @Santa Blahs Sadly. that type of transaction is illegal most places.

@666foldamort And I wouldn't even call Top Deck seats shitty. Kinda nice, tbh
@Batted Bob Ted Williams Proven Joc Pederson Unproven et cetera
@666foldamort @DBrim it's smart to get involved in industries that have antitrust exemptions and massive taxpayer support.
