This post reminds me of a firearm instructor I had who was a former LEO. He said the best bodyguards are midgets because their eye level is a persons' waist line. The part about you feeling compelled to touch your gun like a baseball player adjusting his cup reminded me of that.

I just moved to a free state and have been new to carrying concealed as well. Thankfully I've taken many firearms courses including drawing from concealment. Thanks for the articles.
