"$45 Heist"? Sorry pando but these typos are starting to reflect the quality of work at PandoDaily (Point being this is not the only time you have messed up the headline). I hate being this cynical but just disappointed.
"online WITCH hunts"...geez
@Praveen Mittal And I once again got link-baited by PandoDaily having read this article earlier via their twitter feed. This time the twitter feed said "EXPLAINER:blah blah blah for Startups"...figured it was some more intelligent reporting but turns out a link to the same article as earlier. I can bet twitter or Sarah Lacy will come up with yet another deviation of the Title and link bait this. Getting really tired of Pando's link-baitiness...whatever that is.
Lol - Terrible url and twitter headline"Microsoft beats the narrowly Street’s expectations " / "http://pandodaily.com/news/microsoft-beats-the-narrowly-streets-expectations/"
@fengtality Seriously WTF...Pando is turning into a link bait trollish articles collection or so it seems sometimes....I find it amusing how many links are pushed out via Twitter with gimmicky catch phrases and different kinds. I don't know how many times I have clicked on the link to the same article more than once just with these different catchy headlines pushed out every few hours. Sneaky, sleazy, whatever. But I digress....off to sleep now. Will catch up with Pando tomm.
ha ha brilliant!
Sounds like you are saying Investors have a gambling problem and they are afraid to lose. They should not be gambling across different games with varying payouts and lower risk and instead be focused on high stakes at a few casinos which have the potential to make them big winners. Albeit, gambling is perhaps a different type of risk but you know what I mean...?
I think I need to head to Vegas now
Nightmare on startup street
Did they follow up with "My Bad!"?
I agree with some of the sentiments. Change is never easy, I like the general UI and feel of the site. BUT the larger font size and a lot more scrolling AND the fixed banner at the top literally reduces my viewing space of just half the browser width (and on my 13" mac it looks really bad, reminds me of 90's) . And the ticker on the right is also consuming a good amount of space away from the rest of the viewing area.
So my problem is really not with the structure or UI but more so with the readability/spacing here. Get rid of the fixed banner at the top and we are even.
Please take a look at the site using smaller sized laptops - 11-13" (I know the main audience is probably the 15-17" beasts from Dell....just kidding)
Wouldn't you say Microsoft has dropped the yammer on the prices? :D
In other news, my patent for "rolling eyes" has been approved as well.
Damn popcorn took too long. SO what'd I miss?
I saw Sacca mention something on twitter about his words being misrepresented in the Article "Junior High"? But I see a different war going on over here...
Facebook "adds"....I read it 2 different times as "Facebook ads"
Damn it. I had a section on my page called "Best of...." I can't afford to be sued. I am going to trademark the term "sued" so anytime someone sues me, I can sue them for suing me. Let's all sue each other and make me a millionaire.
@paulcarr w00t! I will have to give it a shot. Do you track how many RSS subscribers are out there? It feels like a cave-man technology now but it is pretty darn solid and I love reading articles out there. Perhaps because it is easier to do that at work :D
Wait a minute...I got some email like that about subscription expiring....didn't realize it was NSFW corp, haven't logged in there for....ever
It'll be great to have an email subscription but it would be even better if I can get an RSS subscription and read it amongst my other regular blogs like TC, Lifehacker etc
A $100 cover for it and $120 keyboard attachment....that's quite a handsome premium....Looking forward to iPad Mini now!
Done!
Very well written, inspirational and I almost want to cheer for Dave! Go Dave! You remind me of ME and remind me to keep going at it.
