"Enjoy the game, see you in November . . . .I miss you already" -Text message from my wife 10 minutes ago, poor gal
I am planning a trip to fenway this summer. I may wear my GoPro camera and an A rod jersey while handing out copies of that letter, just for sport.
1 month, 4 weeks ago on Dodger Pitchers and the Low Strike Zone
@I Digesti The same Jays that spent a fortune to move a flash in the pan knuckleballer into an indoor stadium on a long term deal? . . . . Doubt they look at things so objectively.
@Lobo @MotoMikey Okay so we have a plan in place for games pitched by Josh Beckett, we can build on this
Allocate 1/4 of that ENORMOUS high definition scoreboard in right field at the ravine and just leave Pitch FX up there full time. Stream it from my iphone, I will pay the data charges
Increase runs scored? I see two viable options. . . . .Lift any and all substance bans, or simply revert to the strike zone rules as they were before the start of the 1887 season.
-The batsman, on taking his position, must call for a 'high,' 'low,' or 'fair' pitch, and the umpire shall notify the pitcher to deliver the ball as required; such a call cannot be changed after the first pitch is delivered."
High - pitches over the plate between the batter's waist and shouldersLow - pitches over the plate between the batter's waist and at least one foot from the ground.Fair - pitches over the plate between the batter's shoulders and at least one foot from the ground.
. . . . .I also remember a "high strike" call to action in the late 90's.
@wilhud I dont hate that idea
7 months ago on Dodgers @ Cubs Sept. 19, 2014: Clayton Kershaw, and all of the day games
Kershaw is getting cold . . .
all the runs plz
LOL . . . Cubs
Kemps power to center and away is always a sign that he is locked in, but when he does turn on one and pull it, WOW
TOOK A HIGH PITCH AND DESTROYED IT
GET OUT BASEBALL!!!
@capnsparrow @MotoMikey @Southpaw Joe I am at work like some sort of sucker

we will score another run . . . .don will use league
missing his spots high, that never burned anyone before. . . .
If only our star slugger dee gordon was at the plate in this situation
@Purple Drank @MotoMikey If only the other 24 could be so lucky against those 75% of pitchers in the league
0 runs, 2 left on base in the 6th . . . . #futurepeople
@Blue Collar @MotoMikey @Weston Taylor I was of course referring to one particular plate appearance and not a generalization in regards to the entire roster over the last several weeks
@Weston Taylor MORE WALKS!!!! No one on this fucking team is walking
I rarely hate the bunt with dee
@PF Flyers @MotoMikey Hopefully he is on the DL by then
Chone will need to hit two home runs in this next AB in order to redeem himself temporarily
First time back on here in over a week, been on my grand tour of the east coast including watching the dodgers lose in DC . . . . . What else did I miss?
@Purple Drank @Disgruntled Goat I suspect AJ will not return until Kershaw needs him (next week) or the other way around.

Lets have outdoor baseball in Minnesota they said, target field will be wonderful they said. . . .

11 months, 4 weeks ago on Dodgers 5, Phillies 2: Zack Greinke Is Unspeakably Great
@Tired Math Cat 2-3-4 in voting Clayton, Grinke, Ryu in no particular order. . . .award goes to some goober who wins 24 games but has a whip, era, and bb rate you could feed a third world country with.
I am really excited to see the GREAT Zack Grienke become the second best pitcher on this team again in a week or so .
Great outing, hope he keeps it up
I recall zack once commenting on a reporters questions about him competing with clayton kershaw, his reply simply "seems like a good way to get your feelings hurt, trying to compete with clayton"
@Barney G I wish, trying to work as much as I can before basballcation next week. . . .Sunday though!

@Omer (beercoozie) @MotoMikey And i am sure someone with far more inteligence and data than myself knows the facts and numbers I am just curious as to what they are
@Omer (beercoozie) @MotoMikey My point being, would there be more money in having a larger audience for your channel thus increasing the value of advertising on your network.
I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination on the economics of the business of television. But as i sit here illegitimately streaming MLB.TV via some creative computing within the los angeles local market. . . . One has to wonder, at what threshold would it be more advantageous for TWC to concede to the cable TV providers needs to carry this channel in order to increase the value of the advertising on their network which one could assume is the potential primary source of income for such a business endeavor. Perhaps I am mistaken however and have had a lot of scotch.
Tired of being a theif, I want my Dodgers
