Hey Mike are your thoughts on the Crawford et al trade and how it helped/hurt the Dodgers and how it helped/hurt the Red Sox World Series run? That sounds like a great post to me

@Baby Blue HR over the right field fence if I remember right
@Deuce "It's time for Dodg..... O you mean the season is over? .... ok i'll go home now.... how come no one woke me up?"

BREAKING NEWS: Per KFI AM 640 Dems using Dodger Stadium for election night party
@WBBsAs factually if you look at the polls Palin helped McCain tremendously. it would have been a 45 state landslide without her.
@EephusBlue This is what my GF said: while abortion, birth control, equal pay, other social issues, etc, while they are all important to her they are not nearly important as having a job and paying off the debt. The economy is the biggest issue in this election.
and from my mom who is in her early 50's: abortion/ birth control are non issues because of age. economy, debt, immigration, and finally national security/defense are her highest issues
@EephusBlue I asked my GF that very question and her response was (paraphrased): abortion, birth control, equal pay etc are very important issues but if i can't get a job then why do any of those things matter?
@EephusBlue I believe he does. if he doesn't i want someone new in 2016 but that also mean i was a republican primary not just Romney vs Dem winner.
@Shmolnick again it's about ideals not candidates. Romney is not a Bush. I find it funny how people say the "economic policies that got us here in the first place" when those policies were the radical spending of the Bush's. As a conservative thats not what i want from a republican. thats also what i don't like from the democrats
@ThtsaPaddlin but a real recovery should be closer to the 800,000 lost per month
@Mike Petriello most people believe in ideals not candidates so there is something to that as to why to vote against someone rather than for another
@Mike Petriello Why I voted for Romney,
Obama came into office 4 years ago with massive debt, high unemployment, millions on food stamps, two wars (Afghanistan is justified by 9/11 but drawn out way to long, Iraq was Bush finishing what daddy Bush couldn't), and jobs being sent overseas due to globalization. He has done nothing to help unemployment, he has added $6 to the debt, millions more are on unemployment and food stamps. On top of that he, along with a super majority congress, pushed through healthcare. The healthcare debate is a separate issue because why should we try and fix that when we just came out of the housing market/ financial sector crash. To me thats second term icing on the cake.
Obama had his shot and he make things worse. It's time for someone else to try it out. Romney is what the Rep Party chose. He wasn't my first choice but he is defiantly qualified. Running a country should be run like a business. there is way to much spending across the board and regulations up to wazoo. Romney is going to go through every line of every department and slash spending. that is why he gets my vote.
Time for change.
as for people lying: yes both sides lie but the lies that i have heard come from Romney are only a fraction of the lies from Obama
@EephusBlue @Deuce @Tony Fernandez @Mike Petriello Wars+Tax cuts+ increase in spending+ unfunded liabilities+ everyone's dream to live to 100 without caring how to pay for it = $16trillion and counting
@EephusBlue While I do not agree with the wars that is only a fraction of the $16 TRILLION debt. New argument bro
@EephusBlue @Deuce @Mike Petriello mmmmm greedy :)
@Tony Fernandez sure you can but where did those goods come from? you would have to start from scratch and trade what you produce. you can't come from a system you don't like but take the good created from that system and use it to better yourself. but i was mainly kidding by showing a radical oppositional viewpoint
@Tony Fernandez is an anarchist and needs to go live in the woods somewhere where no one can tell him what to do. O but leave your clothes, tools, knives, guns, food etc and make your own clothes, tools, knives and hunt/gather your own food
@Tony Fernandez so vote third party
@The_Real_Paul @ThtsaPaddlin and Karl Rove
@EephusBlue as you may know I learned my lesson on Twitter and have since toned down my rhetoric.
@EephusBlue i get saving the baby to give it life and I get allowing the death penalty because they had their chance and fucked up. However, i'm still on the fence because of the possibility to murder an innocent man
@ThtsaPaddlin which states?
@Cadtalfryn we should let women run the world. it would get them out of the house so we can watch baseball and scratch our nuts all day.
@Crushinator and my inability to spell right in the first place
@Crushinator darn you autocorrect!!! lol
@The_Real_Paul I agree
Dare I change the topic to the death penalty? FWIW prop 34 in CA yes repeals the death penalty, no keeps it
@MFYG Speaking of mustaches, i heard Axelrod is going to shave his 'stache if Obama looses
@The_Real_Paul Im at CSUCI and voted no!
@The_Real_Paul will the state of California allow a re-do? lol
@HiiiEVERYBODY! is that guy still around?
@Mike Petriello I'm the 10% Romney but I really should be for Gary Johnson. I'm playing the game and voting based on the 2 party system
@The_Real_Paul well shoot had i known it was comparable to DDT i would have voted no
@ThtsaPaddlin thats only if it's a GMO apple
I really shouldn't be reading a comical thread during a presentation. classmates and the professor are watching me try not to laugh
@Cadtalfryn white chocolate?
@Cadtalfryn read the thread. it'll make porn stars in LA wear condoms
@EephusBlue it was a toss up but i went yes. To me it'll end up like calorie counts at restaurants, the only people that will pay attention are the ones who care
@Baby Blue @IBBFTW @The_Real_Paul also heard on the radio that legal Vegas brothels spread more deceases than the porn industry
@Cadtalfryn if you read the conversation about measure B and then read "Are there any polls in thus far?" its pretty fitting
@Mike Petriello not 100% sure on the googles and gloves but thats what the Talk Jocks in LA are saying
@Mike Petriello @LakerDodger24 agreed
@The_Real_Paul no clue
@DBrim @HeathBar2117 there is a measure on the ballot to make porn stars wear condoms, goggles, and gloves
In LA no on measure B. I like my porn messy not all wrapped up in a condom
@Mike Petriello "2013 status: Will make $21m and will be the Dodger first baseman until long after this blog ceases to exist."
Are you tired of us already!?
