No Gasol on D.

No Deron or PP.

I'm no rocket surgeon, but maybe feed Brook the ball all night and see what happens?

I think a situation closer to mark jacksons would be a better fit. Young talented players are easier to make an impression on. I don't think Deron is gonna sign off on Kidd bossing him around. And, unfortunately, King does anything Deron says

All we need is an entitled Blatche thinking he did us a favor by picking us over the Heat.

I would really love if more writers had the same sense. The fact is, his stories draw attention so they keep writing stories on him. I will come to this site to read anyway so please continue to write about our Nets team as it is.

I want to read about Brook and MarShon. I want to learn more about Mirza.

If the future of this team is built around dreaming of "what the future could be if...." then I may as well be a Knicks fan.

These are exactly the folks that the Nets need as a steady fan base. I passed by one of those mobile Nets Experience trucks in Sheepshead Bay a little over a month ago and was surprised that people who didn't even know this was a professional team were excited at the fact that there was a Brooklyn team besides the Cyclones.

Its the everyday people that get behind and stay behind a team. They may not be rabid, but in time maybe their kids will be. Then we can stop hearing about how there is no established fan base in Brooklyn.

Lifelong Heat fan living in Brooklyn for the past 12 years. I thought I wouldn't have a home team again unless I moved back to Miami, but I jumped over as soon as last season ended.

And I bought my hat the day Modells launched the stuff.

Two shooting bigs and two tough rebounding bigs...

Not to mention Crash being able to slide up against smaller teams.

More I think about it, the more I like it.

This is so awful. I was enjoying the prospect of seeing MarShon grow as a player as well as Gerald Green continue his rebirth. Lopez is also very talented and hasn't been healthy in forever. Now when Deron decides to make the obvious choice and pick the team with some flexibility going forward, we will be a team stuck with JJ and Crash eating up half our cap, with ever season going forward being considered a failure. And any fan who thinks Brooklyn will contend for a title so long as Miami is together is beyond delusional.

Honestly, do you think that Deron and Dwight is the best combo we can hope for?

we have to sign Jeremy Lin to run the PnR with Lopez

Brook-Lin will be so amazing.

I know the entire focus of this offseason will be Deron, but I really hope we make a play for Ilyasova. He is a hard-playing talented 4 with range. As much as I appreciate The Incredible Hump, he can't do much on his own so his value is directly tied to keeping Deron.

Can we just stop with the whole Dwight thing. I won't be buying his jersey even if they do trade for him.

Brook Lopez is a fantastic talent who WANTS to be here. I fully have his back and can't wait for him to suit up for my Brooklyn Nets!

MarShon has a great feel for the game and showed great patience as a rook. He absolutely has add some muscle, but I think being on a new exciting team will make all of the difference this coming year.

We were honestly a mess this year and despite Avery's best effort to keep the guys focused, they had to have felt like the season was a throwaway.

The sketchy back injury definitely lowers his value. There is no telling what type of player he will be now.

If it is a T-Mac or Bird type lingering issue, there is no way you trade a #1 for him.

It is so important for us to know what type of players we are signing before committing to Kris long term. There are not that many big and tough players who are coordinated and can finish as well as he does. The thing is, he has no 1-on-1 game. If we lose Deron and cannot replace him with a playmaker, buckets and O-rebounds will get a lot tougher for Kris.

I think we need to load up on smart team-players. Jamal is not one of those.

Let's develop Brooks and Green and worry about adding some more quality bigs.
