Nice! Definitely have to look into these for my AR!

@peter3101 Agreed! Training, training, training! Each does have its pros and cons, so I tried my best not to take a side and just present the facts as I've observed them.

@MarkWallace It kind of acts as a reset button, too, doesn't it? Removing yourself from the concrete jungle and getting in some trigger time in the outdoors…man, now I want to hit up an outdoor range!
@AlessioBaldi Rules are the biggest downside to indoor ranges, indeed…I mean, I understand them, but they really do inhibit training! And that must have been awesome to have what amounts to your own shooting range! I hope that someday, I'll be lucky enough to have something similar!
@KineticFury Lucky! I definitely envy you!
@drmorris9 Good point! Sound is definitely louder in compact spaces!
@drmorris9 Nice! The ranges around Tucson have a few too many rules for my liking, or are too far a drive. My favorite range of all time is the range down in Sierra Vista. Many good times had down there!
@LulaRoze I actually didn't go to the shoot pictured, lol…rather, that was Destinee, TAG's fearless leader ^_^ But definitely make an effort to get to an outdoor range and see how you like it!
@modScheherazade Thanks! And it did seem like a bit of a stretch…it mentioned that he did the training (or something similar, rather) before becoming an XO, and the SEALs gave him a crash course on the specifics before the mission launch. As for his fighter pilot background, as I also understood it, there was some sort of career-ending injury but he was still fit for service elsewhere, so he chose submarine warfare. Hope that answers your questions!

@NateGranzow @StevenHildreth It's because his range of facial expressions makes Kristen Stewart seem like an Academy Award caliber workhorse.

@NateGranzow Yeah…it's a shame. Really was expecting more from it. Oh, well. At least Channing Tatum was barely in it!
@jbadelaire @StevenHildreth @ConsummateCanuck Yeeeeah…about that lol…well, I'll save that for my critique of SB2…I'm watching the first series right now in preparation of a review

@ConsummateCanuck I wouldn't say Section 20 is a straight intel unit, per se…they're more of a mixed bag, able to develop the situation on the ground and then act on it directly, or wait for additional reinforcements. I'd definitely say there's some authenticity to Strike Back, but definitely far more in the British original miniseries than the American/British continuation.
@Africanadian Agreed! South Africa does make for a very good setting!

@ShinigamiDred I agree, and when I do my reviews to get Hot Extract readers ready for Season 3, I'll be pointing out some of the major differences between the British miniseries and the Brit/American series. The Brit series definitely had things squared away where the US/UK version has abandoned that premise. Still, definitely my favorite show on TV right now.

@SavageHenry I've never shot an XDM before, admittedly…I've heard good and bad things about it, but I'd have to get my hands on one to judge for myself
@Tengaugemike You can't really go wrong with either pistol, Loved the S&W M&P, but had to sell it since I made the mistake of buying it in 9mm and there's a 9mm shortage out here in Arizona. Glock's fantastic as well!
@CK5150 Thanks! And agreed, I think there are a lot of people out there that are really caught up on the most minute of accuracy differential when in reality, the distances a self-defense shooter will be engaged at make those minute differentials irrelevant.
