@Shadow Commish My question is why would a grown man be eating cotton candy in the first place.
@EephusBlue Who the hell wants to see Sanchez in a Dodger uniform?
If you look at the numbers, AJ Ellis should be an All-Star this year. He's #2 in batting in the NL and he's throwing people out at almost a 50% rate. While some of that is the pitcher, most of the Dodger pitchers aren't known for keeping a runners on (CK is the exception).
@da purple drank @AnotherBrian Thank you. It's about time I get some credit. :P
I want it noted for the record that I suggested switching Kemp and Gonzales last week and was poo-pooed. Well?
@Mike Petriello @AnotherBrian Because Kemp is hitting as well as my sainted Granny?
@Dang88 @Mike Petriello @AnotherBrian Yes, because that soooo much better than Crawford getting on, Ellis sacrificing him to second, and Kemp striking out, and having Gonzales coming to bat with 2 outs.......
My question is when to we switch Gonzales and Kemp.
One thing I didn't get. I watched the fight. What did Matt Kemp do to get ejected? He was being a loud mouth, but that's not ejectable.
@ThtsaPaddlin I guess I can't either.
Please don't tell me that Juan Uribe has more RBIs than Matt Kemp.
@Disgruntled Goat I don't give up. I just get frustrated with our team. Matt Kemp strikes out looking with men on first and second, then, with one out and the bases loaded, Juan Uribe grounds into a pathetic double play. It was almost as though he tried to hit it to the pitcher.
Then, on the bottom half of the inning, our pitcher throws meat balls to the damn Padres.
Can I hate life now?
I'm not sure who to be pissed off at more. Matt Kemp for striking out looking or Juan Uribe for grounding into a double play.
So, someone finally told Puig that he can walk?
@Mike Petriello I would concur with that.
He feeds the stereotype about Dodger fans; that we're not "good" fans because we "arrive late and leave early" and crap like that. To him (and anyone else who uses that argument), I say "scoreboard."
Over the past 10 years (2002-2012), the Dodgers have been in the top 10 in attendance every year except one; 2011, the last "McCourt" year, where they were #11. Usually, they're in the top 5. Think about that. In 2011, when fans were protesting the McCourt ownership of the Dodgers, the Dodgers still had a higher attendance than 19 other teams. It is unlikely that you'll find any team with more loyal fans than the Dodgers.
Completely off topic - About the Lakers.
In SoCal, we have two major sports radio stations. AM 570 and AM 710. In the morning, we have our choice of Dan Patrick or Mike and Mike followed by Colin Cowherd.
It is me or does Colin have a bro-mance with Lebron James? If the subject of the NBA comes up, it seems that he'll always bring up how, no matter which player is being discussed, Lebron James did it better. In discussing Kobe Bryant's performance yesterday against the Mavericks, Colin said something to the effect that what Kobe did yesterday, Lebron James does every day.
I can't listen to Colin Cowherd. He claims to be neutral, but it's clear that he has an East Coast bias.
More Vin Scully!!!
PITCHERS AND CATCHERS!!! I don't have to pay attention to the Lakers anymore!!!
Anyone hear about the Mariner's deal with Felix Hernandez? I wonder what how that is going to impact CK's contract.
