Iron Man Returns
@Impressive Math Towel @SabrDodgers Only if Guerrero bats.

@OSaltyOne @Iron Man Returns @TheConman Who knows if the Padres know or not. Why reveal it?

@DBrim I'll alert the media.

The Padres committed a Dodger? Bases loaded, no outs and failed to score?

@tsneddy (2015 WSC has a nice RING to it) @Dustin Nosler on what basis?

@Mike Petriello Can't tell. Small Sample Size. SVS has been doing this for a couple years. Guerrero has been doing it for about a month. The pitchers haven't been able to adjust to Guerrero.
@Disgruntled Goat Staying classy, goat. :P
Hell, I can understand. With all those kids, who can keep track?

@Mike Petriello It got really dark here and Mike lightens the mood by talking about ....Hannibal Lecter.

Not baseball related, but funny.
@Disgruntled Goat @Iron Man Returns @ak825 I don't know. But the Dodgers only scoring 2 runs is disturbing. Like something isn't right in the world.
@DodgerDodger While I lived in Sacramento, I went to Dodger-Giant games as much as possible. The I-80 on a Sunday afternoon is awesome. :|

@ak825 @Iron Man Returns Not for a long time.
Note the adverb after the comma ('especially"). That means, in context, "to a great extent; very much." Therefore, the meaning is "to a great extent" in a shut out, but not all the time. If a team gets defeated 15-1, they were skunked, even without the shutout.
@capnsparrow He was retiring?
@ak825 @Iron Man Returns It means to defeat thoroughly, especially in a shut out.
@Los Doyers Cubanos @Iron Man Returns I guess that's my only option. :P
Jesus. I take a break from listening to a Dodger game and they get skunked by "Timmeh?"
Jesus. I take a break from DoDi for one night and crazy shit happens. Damn. You snooze, you lose, I guess.

@nerrd @Purple Drank Such as whether tacos are sandwiches or not. You know, serious stuff.
Also, baseball related, whether to "bat around," nine or ten men need to bat. Bear in mind that Vin Scully says ten.

@CaseyTheGoldMan @KMT59 @capnsparrow That's what I was thinking. How loose was that netting?
@itsthatguywhodoesstuff Damn. I thought you were joking around. Chewbacca's son is named Lumpy.....
@Disgruntled Goat @Iron Man Returns @nerrd Hey, I gave full warning. He said he wanted to go there.
@TheConman @Disgruntled Goat @capnsparrow It's science. You can't argue with science.
@capnsparrow @nerrd @Iron Man Returns What do you expect? I'm a lawyer.
@itsthatguywhodoesstuff @DBrim @Iron Man Returns I'm pretty sure that's not how it works.....
@nerrd @Iron Man Returns First, Dodger Stadium is private property, which means you are a visitor and entitled only to certain areas of the park. Private citizens or companies can restrict speech on their property.
Second, Rick Monday is a private citizen. He can restrict someone's speech without penalty also.
The First Amendment of the US Constitution applies only to government. It does not apply to private individuals or companies.
Thus, neither the Dodgers nor Rick Monday (who was a Cub at the time) violated their rights to free speech under the First Amendment.
@nerrd @Iron Man Returns You really want to go there?

The debate continues....
@Purple Drank In their defense, Wins was a short cut to a quality pitcher. It is unlikely that a bad pitcher will accumulate a lot of wins, while a good pitcher is likely to accumulate many wins.
Also, the stat is a relic of when pitchers pitched more innings and more complete games. With the raised mound, a pitcher had a lot more to determine whether his team would win or not.
In today's game, while the pitcher is still important, he has less because of relief pitchers and better hitting.
@capnsparrow @Iron Man Returns @Disgruntled Goat But, um, well.
Damn. You got me there.
@Disgruntled Goat I hope my "BURN HIM" comment doesn't impact us being friends.
@Disgruntled Goat BURN HIM!!!!!!
@Disgruntled Goat Even me? I thought we were friends. :_(
@MajorPuigBaseball @Iron Man Returns #WhyCan'tWeAllGetAlong #exceptBob.
@Disgruntled Goat Well, the Dodgers play on 4/21. In England, it is 4/21 right now. So, in England the Dodgers play today.
@Disgruntled Goat @capnsparrow You can't dazzle them with your brilliance, you baffle them with your bullshit.
@MajorPuigBaseball @Iron Man Returns These details are important to the game!
@CeeBeast @DBrim BURN HIM!!!
@DBrim How dare you disagree with the Prophet Scully!!!
@Los Doyers Cubanos @uosɹədəɔıu sǝɹpɐd ʎɹəʌ™ Apparently, the devil made her do it.

@Los Doyers Cubanos @Iron Man Returns Thanks.
And to clarify, I want Arod to hit 40 home runs just to make the Yankees squirm.
Am I bad person because I want the Yankees to lose, but Arod to hit 40 home runs this year?
*I could be a bad person for other reasons*
@Los Doyers Cubanos I have not but every I spoke to who has says it is really good.
@Los Doyers Cubanos WTF?
