didnt mean  to write bug i meant bud below, voltage you know your shit im definatley sure id never be able to do this as a green horn unless i had a good expierenced guy showing me blue fin fishing, i mean teaching me the ways, all the rigging all the knowledge your words have truth in them voltage that is how it is, i am a good big lake salmon fisherman but thats nothing compared to ocean fishing the navigation alone is alot of knowlege, years of doing it thats how you learn or less years in a boat all the time with a guy whos put in the years, these first mates arnt real sharp on here they are decent and a couple are terrible as are the captains, they just dont have it ya know, on the money end of it voltage this dot coms 91 fish would definatley pay you a good income seeing that the smaller 300 lbers get you 3k and he caught 51 of those they said with 40 of the larger variety, thats some big money, if its true ? the article was very valid from what i could tell, sounds like the best blue fin action is gloster mass i called the us fisheries. you harpooned them too aye ? i see they have a season for that too and you can do both huh ? how many did you average per year voltage ?

In regards to fishing i read dot com dave caught 91 fish last season thats easily 300k 50 were smaller ones those seem to all pull 3 grand at least i figure and the big ones he caught pull 5 k each ya gotta figure easily, thats alot of bread folks. 40 big ones 50 smaller tuna shit the guy made huge cash people. But then he does seem to know how to fish and dispite pauls big trap and jerry lewis laugh hes a good gaff man and can fish too as can the young mate on dot com they worked well together. hopefully pauls new skipper will quit talking about dave and focus on fishing.

The guy with his wife is the biggest cry baby ive ever seen, get another job dude your a goof ball. You guys giving each other bad cordinates is the most rotten B.S. ive ever seen, you are all luckey to even be able to take these fish with the terrible sistuation they are in numbers wise ect... living or not they really should end all fishing for about ten years world wide. You men need to act like men and share each others spoted ect or tell each other dont even ask, their still is enougn fish in your waters during the season that youd never catch each others fish so quit acting like little bitches and get along an be thankful you get 10 grand for a  damn fish thats ridiculous people ! your lucky to be able to fish for a living what a life, try real work for once  if ya think your lifes tough.

I agree Dave Marciano is my favorite fisherman out there, I dont want to see him on dot coms jock anymore either, dot coms a damn airline pilot doing this for sport and cash, keep it real people theres not that many doing it for their only income, and really with the state of the bluefins populations no one should  be fishing for them now anyways. The orientals will kill this fish off in the next 10 years.

Yes but if you take an arsenal and shoot at that trawler what if he shoots back he could sink your baot where your not going to sink his big trawler, the guy in the trawler was a total asshole to fish so close to the tuna boat, id be temped to shoot at him too man.

I agree these guys need to  leave tricky Dave alone, I mean really guys you cant find your own fish ? I could fish as good as you guys and Ive never fished the Ocean. Ive trolled lake Michigan for salmon and have been very successful at it. We find our own spots out there most of the time. Dave is an asshole for giving false cordinates though. he shouldnt do that he should just tell these other dudes that hes not into sharing his hot spots thats fair.Sharing baits and rigs I think is cool and Dave should help others in the fleet with that because they arnt going to take fish from him their are way to many fish for that to really happen, good info is cool when guys are trying to get the fish in, first opinion of tricky Dave is - hes a dick weed, so is the old dudes who keep bugging him though, they dont have nothing coming this is bussiness man. I am suprised they dont catch more fish im sure they will do better becuase its really not that hard with the gear they have you find the fish and you will hook up as long as you use good chum and good bait, they have good fishing out there still dispite the reduction in blue fin numbers that location holds plenty of fish and if necessary you just send up a small spotter plane and you will find good schools easily. Daves a pilot im sure he uses a spotter or he gos up in the air to find them.

Cool Show, sad the Tuna have been fished out terribly but its Japans overfishing especially thats messed up the fish, American fisherman catch a fraction of the fish taken. Years of foreign abuse have put these fish in harms way and us older folks have seen the Blue Fin get wiped out just like other animals over the past 40 years. Its a sad world people when  one fish sells for 250 K. Catch em boys ! they wont stop over in Japan till they are gone.
