@Razzy @Deborrah @PatFinley Razzy...u suck; your mouth is HORRIBLE; your point of view is DARK! Your breath smells bad all the way from cyberspace and you never say uplifting words! At least Deborrah has a chance...yours look very slim at this point...
Pat, u keep on standing! U r doing a great job and u know already, God's got your front, back and your sides!
On your book sales...
Good for u. So when your time comes to answer to God for what a good soldier you've been, let's see what He tells you about how many people you helped to steer away from the church versus towards...
About your rain gear.,..
I'd rather be wet and moist and pliable and usable, teachable instead of dry and brittle and crusty and peeling from the 'heat"...unable to work with...unbendable...unteachable...
About my Christian tutelage...
I have been leaning on and living by these statutes my entire life and if I had it to do over again, I would have gone and given in a little sooner in life, learn to combat this sacriligeous talk and will have gone to school to teach you and Razzy and others like you a slick way of cornering you into the truth so that you wouldn't either be on your death bed finally acknowledging God or not acknowledging Him at all. I am HONORED to have been brought up in a family who abides by and knows the TRUTH. I feel for your dogma. Yours is defending the unknown to remain unknown since u can't c it; it's not there. Mine is believing, then knowing and confessing to the unknown now, when it is absolutely apparent to do so!
At least I was BRAVE enough to try it just to see if it worked as an adult and I came right back full circle to what I knew all along but had to chance leaving to c if it would be different or the same; it was the same: God is ALMIGHTY; GOD can knock u out with a thought, but He loves you too much to do that to u, so He allows u to say and do what u will until your breath is gone; then it will be too late!
So when you stand in front of Him, you r going to remember me and Pat Finlay among others who tried relentlessly to warn you, to love you in, to help u to c and know the TRUTH, but didn't listen.
As long as u have breath, u still have time; don't let pride send you to HELL! An Razzy is helping u go because he wants to go and is sold out and taking others with him...now that's an agenda!
I refuse to comment to u anymore Razzy...it is a lost cause with u...u r sold out into falsehood...I don't know how prayer can help u because u don't want help. No power to u!
It IS a place to celebrate God. Now people who ostricize the church can only c the glass half-empty, not half full. I hope your next venture with the church people uses a wider persective than before. My tenure is 38 years in different black churches of all of the christian faiths, including nonChristian ones like Mormonism, Catholicism, among others. I have enough tenure to talk about what I've lived. How r the book sales anyway?
@zipporah @Deborrah u can't take 1 stuation from an obvious fallible human being and judge his whole character like the world does. The minute one person makes a mistake, they r ostricized. Now who is judging?
@Razzy: This attack is not personal; it is against satan and satanic beliefs. U just happen to have a satanic belief...
@Razzy: Ms Heartbeat never said she was atheist; only u r bold enough to state that claim. Black people are smart enough not to blaspheme God because they know the consequences. I feel very sorry for u because if u don't believe before your death, The Lake of Fire is made for people like u. U still have time to repent! But like satan, he has u believiing in the lifelong myth that "There is no God".
Boy, he sure has u fooled. I will continue to pray for u and hope u c the light before darkness eats u up alive! May the God who u don't belive in rescue your confused, dazed, decrepit soul. Look around Razzy; atheist r the minority. U r the one going around attacking my viewpoint. As I recall, I was having a conversation with Deborrah and u commented against my statements and to date, it is u who is on the defense, not me. God doesn't need my help, He made u. He doesn't care if u speak against Him, either, because u r just a confused child trying to find your way home. He has allowed u this time to do that. If u use your time up denying Him, He will have no choice but to see that u have chosen your father, which is satan as your god, and your soul will live with him forever away from anything good. U won't even be able to come back and warn all of your atheist friends!
U r going to wish u listened n the end and at that time it will b too late. I am not trying to convert u, but I will b another one u will remember when and if u decide to burn in hell's fire for non-belief. It's so easy u can't believe it. I bet if salvation cost a million dollars u would believe it! Wow, I am glad God allowed me into the christian family where I can believe the simple truth and not a complicated lie. God bless your soul and I will pray for u to get 'the proof' u require to believe!
@Razzy: Get your life, Razzy! I really wonder what your personal life is like? I wonder if u go around barking and fighting with everyone u meet...life can be much better and brighter than that if u can meet someone where common thoughts exist. None of this is resonating with u? There is not a tiny tinge of, "well maybe I should just open my mind and see if some of this stuff they r saying is true..."? Go bless your soul!
@Pat Finley: Hey Pat, I agree with your thinking because u have a great view of what God is showing us. No color, no classes of people, only right and wrong, good or bad, no gray areas. I don't know where the issue of color has come in. Maybe because of the title of the book, which mentions and degrades the black church which mostly black women attend and black men head. Once we learn what this world system is all about and who's behind it (satan), people will run the other way. But the bible says that unbelievers are unable to see Truth or even know It. But, as u say, we still pray to help their unbelief because Jesus is coming back and unbelievers will be caught outside of the ark just like in the days of Noah...be encouraged and God blessed!
Christianity is free and I don't "put" as u say my Christianity on people. It's for those who believe and those who want something more than what this cruel satanic world has to offer. I have moved up in God. I don't seek power or position on my job or in church. I promote God and Jesus as Saviour. Again, we r all reading and learning and growing together as The Body of Christ. I don't need the pastor to tell me what I already know from my own reading and studying of the bible and of the things of God. I am a tenured Christian. I go to church to praise God and to fellowship with other believers.
I recommend Jesus to u. He loves u and is calling u to repentance and to himself. He lovingly calls us. But he warns, "If u deny me on earth, (when u die) I will deny u in front of my Father." It's said and quoted in love. I hope u find him before it's too late. Happy searching.
@Razzy Poor poor limited understanding person u r. Do this: Go to your kitchen and get a plate. Then put these things on it and see how fast it fills up: Love, patience, kindness, hope, faith, endurance, peace, mercy, grace, knowledge, power. Of course your plate is still empty, right? It's because u have either no or shallow belief. These r things u do/get in the spirit realm. I will pray for your unbelief.
Our God is not the man standing in front of the pulpit; it is The One who created you and He oversees the good and bad. They are not separated in the church. The wheat and the tares all grow together but when the separating happens, all will see. But of course when God reveals to us that a man/woman or whomever in charge or a place of authority is not worthy of that position, there is a proper way of sitting him/her down and The Church does that. It is a process. Even though you are tenured in what you do, you are still not faultless and are guilty of some hidden thing that no one knows, or so you think. Sometimes people are just gathering up information to make sure when they fire you, it sticks. Point being, no one can say what training, schooling, background a person has in one of our spiritual positions in church. Believe it or not, in today's Christian churches, they look at your profession in the world and most times it's how they choose what you are going to do in the church. Those professions come with people with degrees in their specialty/gift. Check it out. We are getting it right. That is why we are there. I am glad you are not my judge, jury or prosecutor!
Nice points if u believe in science only and not unseen things. I could see why people would take a stance on only tangible things because they can be proven. But let's look at it this way...if Christianity is true, which I totally believe, when you die in your unbelief, your spirit man that you have inside of you will have to rest forever in the place of unbelief, away from The One who you didn't believe in. There is no point in trying to convince a nonbeliever to believe, but I will pray for God to show Himself to each of you so that when you do, you will have no choice but to state that it is so. Hopefully, He will help your unbelief.
Now in order for you to continue to make money with the books that you sell to discredit the truth, you would have to continue in those lies. You would have to discredit healing, faith, and all of the testimonies of real people with real experiences from that Unseen Force that you basically claim doesn't exist. You have begun to discredit preachers and then the church. How far will you go? Now, you will have to attempt to discredit every other thing that Christianity is based on and you along with other faiths such as Muslims, atheists, Judaism, and all others apologists haven't been able to disprove as of yet.
The bible does not have to be proven; it proves itself. I don't feel bad about any of the things that you have said about men (mankind) because there is some truth to it . There are bad people and good people in church. But your books and these blogs aim to show only the problem and that side of the church. What do you think the world would be without it? Don't answer! I already know. A whole bunch of self-righteous, self-centered, self-serving people who are pompous, shrewd and bigots, which are the very things that cause people to believe they did it all by themselves. They are the very people who think they created mankind or it just happened somehow.
What started out as awareness for people who have been wronged by someone in the church, namely a minister or preacher or even pastor, has turned into an all out attack on the validity of the Christianity itself. Was that the original hidden agenda?
I believe that you or someone you know have personally been hurt by someone in the clergy and the attack has turned general.
SITUATION: You are driving down the street in your new white Chevy Tahoe. Before you purchased yours, you never really noticed many on the road. Now everywhere you turn, there is your white Chevy Tahoe. Did all of a sudden after you purchased yours everyone go out to buy one? No, they were always there but YOUR focus is on them because YOU have one.
HYPOTHESIS: I believe your focus is on the negativity or problems with the church and now you see the church half empty instead of half full. Change your outlook or view and then just maybe you can see the good that is produced in and benefitted by all who believe! May The God who you don't believe in bless you and keep you safe. In Jesus' name,

@PatFinley : Discernment is a thought process, not an action. I use discermenment in all settings, including church. And yes, God's Word is our guide, not the preacher, teacher or whomever. People in all facets are in positions of power with faults of their own, known and unknown, but they are not removed from their jobs unless they are proven to be unfit for it. God places pastors over a church just like he appoints all government leaders into their positions, good and not so good, and the bible states that as well. But like you stated, all people in their positions aren't just, and in time, they will be found out and judged. But until then, we still go to church, praise God and pray for all involved. Always remember, we are not the judges of men we are called just to love all people. God will judge the unrighteous and when He is ready to expose someone - including preachers - for their dastardly deeds, He will. When premature judgment happens outside of God's will (and that is also explained in the bible how to confront someone in the clergy or otherwise) it causes unrest and a ripping apart of that church that would otherwise not have happened had they allowed God to work things out like He does to perfection after we mess things up. People do need to know Him for themselves, but we do need guides, even if that guide is imperfect. "...All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23. God bless!
Sorry, I don't agree that being in church doesn't change you and/or make you better. I do understand and others should too, that people in church are not better people, they are a people who admits they need help and are getting that help by being where Christ is being preached as their help. The pastor, ministers, deacons, male ushers could be looked to as helpers, but they have problems, too; that's why they are there. I am simply defending the church because it has done nothing but help me. In times when the world beat me up to a pulp, the church took me in, nurtured me and built me back up to be able to face the world again with renewed vigor and weapons thast only God can give and the church brings. Yes, the church has many flaws. But we admit that we are just regular people trying to get it right by practicing doing good deeds, giving to worthy causes, and reading the word at least in church if not any other day of the week. Church is still needed and useful. Without it, we would go into ruin as a nation! God bless!
