I like baseball and puns. I used to like programming, but I don't like that anymore. I eat a lot of cheez its.

@Batted Bob if only the words "organic" or" free range" had anything to do with health.
@Tymathee probably not.

@666foldamort you know there'a already somebody who does this right?
@SabrDodgers @just Paul like busted up laughing

@Weston T @just Paul @LA_Woman kinda runs in my family I guess. I'm good at managing it. I don't take meds or anything, but I definitely worry about a lot of things.
@Weston T @just Paul @LA_Woman yeah, sorta. about stupid shit.
@SabrDodgers @just Paul one day my friends and i were discussing it in a stairwell. We turned a corner and saw our stats prof who immediately lost his shit. Then during lecture, while he was writing on the white board he goes "today I learned that if you mix codeine with sprite and jolly ranchers it'll get you super fucked up."
@SabrDodgers @KanYeezus does the drank character make more sense to you now?
@SabrDodgers with coedine?
@Weston T @just Paul @LA_Woman at concerts i'm usually sweaty and already feeling a bit claustrophobic. I don't think I'd enjoy myself worrying about how a substance is gonna affect me.
@Weston T @just Paul @LA_Woman I become very outgoing, open, and confident on alcohol. Then sober Paul gets very critical of drunken Paul. I'd be an alcoholic if not for that second part.
@LA_Woman @just Paul @Weston T I've heard your experience with it will depend a lot on your environment.
@LA_Woman @Weston T damn, right when it started to blow up in the rave scene.
@LA_Woman @Weston T molly is (relatively) pure MDMA. ecstasy is MDMA cut with all sorts of other shit.
@Weston T I always assume that if I tried it, the worst possible things would happen. This is literally the only reason I've never done it.
@Weston T @LA_Woman @just Paul I admire people who can function on the brink of chaos. I take one bong rip and feel like I need a whole day to get my faculties back.
@Weston T DD, where everything's made up and the points don't matter.
@SabrDodgers @just Paul @LA_Woman @Weston T I was talking more about Hamilton here. I was taking part in a longer Gaudin discussion earlier. I'm probably more in the "open-minded" camp, because I believe people can change, and it's not as though he's a repeat offender (so far as we know). And if we wanna be technical, pleading "no contest" is not the same thing as admitting to the charges (although in this case it's pretty clear.)

@Weston T @just Paul @LA_Woman most of the things I'm ashamed of are poorly handled social interactions.
@Weston T @LA_Woman @just Paul Pujols and Adrian are kinda similar at this stage in their careers. But I'll take Adrian's health and contract terms.
@LA_Woman @just Paul @Weston T it's a sad reality that in a room full of 40 people, chances are at least a few of them will be assholes. We like to think our team is an exception, but all franchises employ them.
@Weston T @just Paul I know that he has a lot of natural talent as a baseball player, but he seems like the last person on earth I'd want to share an apartment with.
@Weston T @LA_Woman @just Paul i remember all my Angels fans friends doing victory laps after that, and I told them they're going to be paying a geriatric for a long time to come.
@SabrDodgers @just Paul just rewatched Birdman. It could be because I watched it with my parents, but it seemed like it had more F bombs the second time.
@Weston T @just Paul it's almost like when the kid who always sells you pot gets called into the principle's office, and we all assume he finally got caught selling pot, but we don't really know yet, it could be some other stupid shit. And you shouldn't really care, but you totally do anyway.
@Weston T @just Paul Josh Hamilton, for some reason.
@Weston T @just Paul 66 of 'em
@LA_Woman @just Paul say hey kid
anyone still around?
@JackedNate @just Paul @TheConman don't be ridiculous, Nate. There was no gunman on the grassy knoll. Ruby had him killed weeks earlier and the parade was a cover up.
3 days, 6 hours ago on Chad Gaudin Is In Dodgers Camp, And You Won’t Like It
@TheConman but wait.... nothing in the world is ever worse than PEDs so...?
@DINGERS! and injured all the time
@BehindOrangeLines @just Paul @Purple Drank the point of my post isn't even to necessarily say that he's changed. He could still be a scumbag rapist for all I know. I'm just wondering if you guys are willing to entertain the possibility that sometimes people change, and pushing them all to the margins of society after they've already faced consequences might not always be in everyone's best interest.
@BehindOrangeLines @just Paul @Purple Drank I'm not saying it's okay. It's terrible. But he did face legal consequences for it and maybe he is capable of being rehabilitated.
@BehindOrangeLines @Purple Drank sure, if you're a repeat offender/sociopath, somebody who has demonstrated an inability to control their harmful impulses. But this was one incident.
@Math Space Cat @ABSmileBunch i didn't think anybody would actually bother to refute this ridiculous hypothetical.
@Math Space Cat @just Paul @Disgruntled Goat I just mean that we would all want the most charitable possible treatment under the law should we ever find ourselves accused of a crime.
@Disgruntled Goat it doesn't make the person/crime any worse than it actually is (which is admittedly pretty terrible in this case)
@Disgruntled Goat @just Paul I mean.... lawyers do all kinds of scummy shit because it's in their best interest to see their clients given the fullest possible benefits of the law.
Just a question for you all. Do you think it's possible for someone to do a terrible thing while in a disoriented state of mind, eventually face consequences for that action, learn from/regret the experience, and go on to be a productive member of society in any capacity?
@Subtle Euphemism @Weston T she's aged quite gracefully.

@Montgomery Burns I see you Nancy Bea.
@Pimparoo (The Ghetto Wilt Chamberlain) actual size
I'm concerned about the pace of play rules affecting Vin Scully's "on this day in Dodger history" segments
@Subtle Euphemism @Pimparoo (The Ghetto Wilt Chamberlain) I think he's just saying that the length of the game is probably not the reason most people who don't like baseball don't like it.
@Montgomery Burns hehe, dome.
3 days, 8 hours ago on A look at Dodgers’ pitchers and ‘pace of play’
@Montgomery Burns remember when Juan Rivera got 4 mil for a year and Mike thought the world was on fire?
