Also watching. An article on Basketball Prospectus said on how you need to use advanced stats, regular stats, and then a scouts view to judge a player. It is almost impossible to find one stat that will perfectly rank players and analysis need to use as many different views as possible in order to shape an opinion. PER has use in adding pieces to the puzzle.

It's just like with Baseball. You shouldn't only use one stat and you should use many different stats to form your view and opinion players.
