 @OliverHelm Probably more accurate to say that, out of the 300k emails he examined, those that contained a telephone number had a lower close rate than those that didn't. The thinking was that the recipients MAY have found it a little creepy to imply that the sender might expect a phone call, but that's just anecdotal - this was quantitative research, not qualitative. But probably best if you ask Mike :-)
