It's hard to believe that Nokia and Microsoft didn't know before hand that the Lumia 900 didn't have the hardware capable of running Windows Phone 8. In such a situation, why not improve the 900s hardware or delay its launch? The whole premise of Windows Phone is to give a better experience than Android. By adopting what is one of the biggest gripes of most Android users about their phones, both MS and Nokia have lost a big selling point.
