The latest edition should state that the University of Alabama has 14 national championships in football. Please reveal your source so that a correction can be made. Unless this is a lame attempt at humor trying illustrate that The University of Alabama did not earn all of their national championships, but I know you have too much integrity for that.
John, as I'm sure you're aware, the term "Bammer" is a derogatory term used by the rivals of The University of Alabama is describe (in their view) an ignorant, arrogant, Alabama fan. Usually, a fan with no connection to the Capstone, whatsoever. Surely, as one who reports on the SEC, you know this. Why would you even use such a term in an article? I've never seen you use "Barner" in reference to an Auburn fan. As stated earlier, (and before you respond with the 'That's not how I meant it.' reply) surely, as one who reports on the SEC, you know this is often a derogatory remark. Why even go there?
