I'm trying to think of a good or Lombo. I'm thinking Placido Polanco with a little less pop

For me, the most encouraging thing is that The Nationals easily have the pieces and salary to make a move at the trade deadline.  Also, most of the core pieces are very young and home grown. They are built like the Rays, but with a big market team salary capability. Jim Bowden was on MLB radio a few weeks ago talking about how Washington can have a Yankee/ Red Sox/ Phillies type of long term run of success. That is what makes me very excited.

In my opinion, I think Davey has to entertain the idea of benching Espinosa.  With this lineup, he doesn't have the luxury of starting a guy who isn't contributing anything, offensively. He may need time in the minors to reacquire the strike zone.

You know, I don't understand the Tyler Moore situation. Why do you call him up if he isn't going to play, I mean I can understand if the the LF spot was even playing decent. But are you saying that Moore can't hit .125? Give the kid a chance

I'm not sure if you saw Jim Bowden's piece on Zimmerman from ESPN.com, but he said the pick he was selected  with was the compensation from not trading Alfonso Soriano. Its amazing how the trades you don't make can be just as big as the ones you do.
