Did anyone else notice that KD had the only two Thunder misses from the charity stripe? How weird.
Just a long-time lurker who has appreciated the insight and quality of the comments here for a long time and finds himself appreciating them less lately, especially tonight.
Gonna leave this here, Royce's words (I assume) not mine:

@BallSoHard Last season is a bit of an unfair benchmark given how special of a bench player Harden was. I would be more curious as to compare that second number to other playoff teams when their best player is sitting.
@MisterJohnsonOKC @_ClarkT New year, new Ibaka. And I think a lot of that falls on Brooks for not adjusting to Miami's lineup.
@MisterJohnsonOKC Ibaka can shoot 3s, and will be guarded by Jamison? This means they will be killed from 3 by Ibaka. =D
Big Thunder fan checking in from L.A. I invited my Laker friends to watch the game together, no takers. Supposedly the start time is too early. =/ Oh well...
Go Thunder!
LOL, nice try KD.
Get those 5 guys down to the D-league.
Wow... that was embarrassing.
PERK!
Box out!
Now is not the time for Bad Russell to come out.
Westbrook... :(
That was the right call after looking at that 2nd angle.
goaltend!
@Lost Ones @CLthunderfan @lmp5336 I'm not sure what you mean by "relies on perecentages", but if you mean that he allows on defense an outcome that would yield a similar result had he not allowed it then more power to him. Why not save that energy for something that nets the Thunder a gain of some sort.
@CLthunderfan @f5alcon @Legendary_Dork I already knew it and figured I'd provide a citation in hopes of correcting a widely held misunderstanding.
@f5alcon @Legendary_Dork Actually, while "desserts" is more popular, "deserts" is acceptable.
From Dictionary.com:
de·sert
noun 1. Usually, deserts. reward or punishment that is deserved: Death was his desert. Synonyms: due, payment, recompense, reward; justice, retaliation, retribution, penalty. 2. the state or fact of deserving reward or punishment. 3. the state or condition of being worthy, as in character or behavior. Synonyms: merit, virtue, worth.
Idioms 4. get / receive / etc. one's (just) deserts, to be punished or rewarded in a manner appropriate to one's actions or behavior: Some people felt he had gotten his just deserts, having been imprisoned and relieved of his ill-gotten gains, but others would have preferred old-style public flogging, followed by drawing and quartering, and who can blame them?
Origin: 1275–1325; Middle English < Old French deserte, noun use of feminine past participle of deservir to deserve
@ILikePancakes@dancassidy35/FreeFestusFromGSW! @OkcBaby Actually, the projections are for 4 years from now which explains why LAC and MIN are higher than MIA.
