Oh boy, I had a few nervous moments last night! I put on my Pedroia ‘15’ shirt to, you know, get me ‘in the mood’. Then to pass the time until first pitch I hollowed out a couple of large pumpkins for the kids. Not wanting to get my shirt dirty, I took it off. I know, I know; foolish thing to do, especially after having watched the above link to Jennifer Garner. Anyway, I forgot to put the shirt back on again before the game started. Despite cruising out to a 6-0 lead, by the bottom of the 4th Pedey was 0 for 3 with an error and, if I’m honest, I’ve never felt as uncomfortable with a 6 run lead as I did last night. Now, at this point do I put the shirt back on? Leave it off? Burn it and put the ashes next to the television? It was hard to know what to do for the best. In the end I did nothing, but it could have ended up being a costly blunder and any comeback by the Cards might very well have been on me. Anyway; move on. Lesson learned!

While I've been following the Sox for the last 12 years I've only made it to Fenway twice (...on account of living in Scotland). However, what you have described (albeit based on your own very personal experiences) perfectly encapsulates the magic of Fenway. Well done to you, sir.
