I second the compost, compost, compost suggestion. We compost our kitchen scraps and it really is very rich!

all of these are great selections! I find boys like anything that gets them moving or makes them dirty!

Ive never tried this diet but I do take probiotics. I find that as long as I am VERY nice to my stomach I am usually okay. But, it requires regular attention!

I am terrible about photo keeping. my kids are teens and the digital stuff was just coming around when they were babies. I have boxes and boxes of blurry photos from when they were little. And tons of digital ones that I have yet to print. I really need to find time to create something tangible to pass on to them when they are grown!

That is really cute! I hate all the plastic throwaway stuff you see around the holidays!

this looks wonderful! I planted dill in the yard this year and for some reason the whole plant just died! Will have to try again next year.

Lets say I am an average not so green American who wants to live a more Eco friendly life. I see an advertisement for a Green Festival and think to myself YaY I will go and learn how to live greener. Then I get to said festival and all I find are extremist attitudes and ideas that tell me I have to give up all plastic and create only 3 ounces of trash while buying only organic GMO free foods grown within 50 miles of my home. Am I going to even attempt to change my lifestyle? NO! Green festivals are a great way to educate the public....ALL of the public. Even those people who are just starting out on the journey.

@EcoPeaceful going green and getting healthy does not have to be an all or nothing endeavor. We all have our vices and I would rather admit to them than lie and pretend perfection. I have a weakness for neon orange Cheetos that I give into occasionally. Woman cannot live by organic bean sprouts alone.
