@13thBama I was referring to the above comment about 6x6 going to another unit
@Attack Company 175 @13thBama Pinz's? Delta?
"...ITS OUR TIME" I can hear the laughter all the way to here from a bunch of guys in Syria, Yeman, Philippines (take your pick)
Why is Delta and the 75th using .40 Glocks if they are potentially problematic as far as the cartridge goes? Not getting into the whole Glock vs 1911 thing.
@OldRGR - yes but with a modern twist with more organic support like uavs, light armor. In my limited knowledge, the propsed structure is light, flexible and scalable for a wide range of potential missions
Great article / idea! Jack, I came across this on the interwebs and thought it could be of interest. The paper published in 2004 outlines how the 75th could potential by restructured for 2020. Interesting reading. http://www.dtic.mil/cgi-bin/GetTRDoc?AD=ADA428960
Best 99 cents I've ever spent. In the references, what is "Ibid" ???
Awesome article Chris. Can't wait for more! On a more general administrative note, all writers should be tagging their articles consistently. For example this article isn't evan tagged CAG/ Delta and that's what it's about. Jacks articles are nicely tagged. Makes future reference easier.
Random question - is there some sort of relationship between Delta and the 5th Sfg? Is there a larger percentage in Delta then other groups?
@JackMurphyRGR @Iassen - I believe the book "The Killer Elite" references both the cover "Stardust" and recruitment of it's own shooters from Delta. Yes I did assume that if you are part of an "secret" group and recruited into a more "secretive" group you might think you are a little more elite. Who wouldn't want to be in a unit that goes by a bad ass name like Gray Fox.
@Iassen Donov - yeah I am pretty sure that is an Activity cover. The Activity does have it's own shooters that might think they are a rung above, but in the end they are just brothers of Delta.
@Androus - and the new shirt is priceless
@OPR @JackMurphyRGR Holy crap was that funny. Made my commute - thanks!
That guy is awesome. Jack you have to sign him up!

Nice. Love how it's business as usual for them. Near the end, did he say grab all the 7.62 off the medevac?
@Connor. - thanks for the info. Any adoption of RBAV or Crye PCs?
@Connor. - thanks man! So no more Ranger green carriers?
Jack - it may be jumping the gun but could you do a current Ranger loadout and maybe a hypothetical one based off your other awesome article on RRC.
@JackMurphyRGR @Connor. - I read that the Rabgers were impressed with Delta's Pinzi's during their taking of that dam in early stages of Iraq and were possibly getting a few - any truth to that?
